Patchey13 Posted August 18, 2013 Share Posted August 18, 2013 Much better, but you're never done. You're lines could still use some cleaning up. Take a look at the Blue Wahoos logo you posted earlier. The lines are all very clean, and give it a sense of movement and direction. Your lines are still a little jagged and uneven, and it adds 'clutter' and makes it less visually appealing. I'd suggest taking into inkscape, getting familiar with the Pen tool, and just trace over the logo. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Whittier S Posted August 18, 2013 Share Posted August 18, 2013 Too realistic, too much detail. For starters, ook at the edge of the tail, for instance. That's an illustration, not a logo. Simplify that line. Same with the shadow detail in the fin and other areas. Think in terms of shapes rather than lines. Clean those up, and you have something special.
