  1. This supposed New look gives me a fauxback feeling. I'm not a fan of the lack of gold, specifically the color being used as an outline on the numerals. There are other elements of the past that I wished they would return to, but overall, this is just an ok look. Not impressed nor disgusted.
  2. College Football uniforms- 2018

It seems as if design, period, has taken a nosedive, regardless of company. What happened to: Helmet Stripes Jersey Stripes (that make sense) Cuff Stripes Pants Stripes Pro Style Socks / Striped Socks There's no rhyme or reason to any of these looks anymore. I say that all to say that Illinois is a downgrade; a fusion of Syracuse & Wazzu as previously stated by others.
  3. 2018 Final Four court goes with Fiesta theme in San Antonio

I would've preferred the key be in color. Aside from that, it's a nicely done court.
  4. NBA Changes 2017-18

  5. NBA/Nike by BigBryArab (Raptors & Grizzlies)

I'd actually suggest the wordmark & numerals be white, outlined in red on the Community set. Also, flip the shorts logos to be red, outlined in black. Otherwise, I really like Toronto.
  6. He doesn't, but he did sport the same number in college at Oklahoma.
  7. NBA Changes 2017-18

I think I'd like Utah's City Uniform/Alternate Court more if it didn't make me think of the Phoenix Suns so much.
  8. NBA Changes 2017-18

The Heat's City uniforms deserve an alternate court with them. The yoke on the Kings City jersey, I feel, is atrocious, then the alternate logo instead of a wordmark takes it down even more. Thunder set looks like counterfeit uniforms.
  9. Recently, I was pondering on throwback uniforms; watching NBA teams wear road throwbacks at home and vice versa lead me to this question. Particularly, why do some teams only use one uniform of a specific set, as opposed to using both? The last time I remember such an instance would be the AFL 50th Anniversary during 2009 or the NFL's 75th Anniversary in 1994. Wanted to open the discussion to learn why does it seem to be uncommon to use both a home & road throwback.
  10. NFL 2018 changes

I would like to see, at some point, Cleveland retire their Browns identity and start anew.
  11. NCAA Basketball 2017-18 New Uniforms

This board teaches you that monochrome isn't preferred for football unis; it's mandatory for basketball.
  12. NBA Changes 2017-18

Take the sleeves off and replace the grey with the Bucks' current creme color and this is pretty good.
  13. NBA Changes 2017-18

I really like that alternate court for Toronto, although it could use a touch here and there. The uniforms are a no for me though.
  14. College Football Uniforms - 2017 Season

All Miami had to do was go White/Orange/White. The black uniforms for them are gross.
  15. NBA Changes 2017-18

I really loved the 76ers' red alternates in action last night. I really love that they changed the color pattern in the striping. My only gripe would be that they should have used a number font that meshes well with the script wordmark on this and their 4th alternate.
  16. Introducing the Las Vegas Aces

I'm not excited about the nickname, as its been used in numerous concepts/ideas and is actually being used by the minor league Reno Aces, but I must say I really like the logo. Just hoping that the WNBA goes back to having uniforms unique to each team, and not be stuck with the boring league-wide template like with adidas.
  17. College Football Uniforms - 2017 Season

I really like Akron's script on their helmets in the MAC Championship.
  18. NBA Changes 2017-18

Atlanta: Not much to say except I really like it if this is it. I just hope that the shorts aren't crazy and that the base color is black and not that dark grey/slate color they use. Boston: Meh. Seen it already with sleeves from adidas. Don't care for the Celtics in grey and there's enough parquet on the floor during home games. Would've been a good time to do a green and gold themed set. Chicago: May be the best of the bunch. Great tie-in with the colors and the flag inspiration. This is the standard for a "City Edition" jersey. I'd want to have the numerals and script to have the striping pattern like on the collar and cuffs so that the red and blue don't bleed into each other. Denver: Huge disappointment. Should've been light blue and in another direction, not a mix of your current road jersey plus last year's sleeved jersey. What a bore. Golden State: Glad to see a yellow jersey for them in their current template. I would replace the cyan-blue color with white, and as others have stated, the team name in Chinese characters would've been better. L.A. Lakers: To be straight to the point, I don't have any love for this. It'd be cool if it were a custom fashion jersey and that's it. I still want the black uniform Kobe had on in that photo shoot; that would be best. New Orleans: It's a re-do of their previous Mardi Gras set, and I like this one better. I also rather this be the Pelicans color scheme full-time, FWIW. Orlando: I don't know how to feel about it; part of me wants to like it, while another part wants to not. Really bugs me that it uses the logo and wordmark instead of just the wordmark. Toronto: I respect the creativity, but I feel there were better concepts on the board that were told no in favor of this one. San Antonio: Another I don't love. Just a mix of their Military set and alternate. I know the Spurs are class over flash, but you have to come up with something better than this. Washington: It's interesting, to say the least. I like that they went with something different with the wordmark; I'm not sure I'm sold on the marble pattern on the sides. I wonder if I'll like this better than last year's alternate.
  19. The deal, presumably, will last all the way until the 2024 Paris Olympics. They were last outfitted by adidas. Article:
  20. Oklahoma making the switch to Jordan Brand in 2018

Yes, Jordan Brand is still Nike, meaning that OU is still Nike. The only change would just be the logo from the Swoosh to the Jumpman. They'll look the same just like Michigan & North Carolina.
  21. College Football Uniforms - 2017 Season

Didn't really care for Ohio State's grey set, as their regular set would've been miles better. One detail about that set I liked was the "Buckeyes" on the helmet's back bumper.
  22. College Football Uniforms - 2017 Season

West Virginia missed an opportunity to have been able to create a new set based on their 1st Pro Combat uniforms, I still think that would have been a sharp look. UNC looks clean in navy as a once-a-year look. Washington State should've gone silver helmet/crimson facemask, white jersey, crimson pants.
  23. NBA Changes 2017-18

From Darren Rovell: "JUST IN: @Bucks bringing back Mecca court design in return game to former arena next Thursday" Bucks are also expected to wear their previously unveiled throwbacks as well.
  24. NBA Changes 2017-18

I think you may be right on the team color accessories, as I've been wondering the same thing.
  25. NBA Changes 2017-18

Quick question, so now that Nike has taken over apparel for the NBA, when does that translate over to the G-League and WNBA?
