Hip Hop Hockey League -- part 2

Here is part two of the HHHL, but first here is who we have completed so far.

N.W.A

With that said, here is part two, the P$C or Pimp Squad Click. P$C came out with their debut album in 2005, "25 to Life". There are five members of P$C: AK, Mac Boney, Big Kuntry King, C-Rod, and the most well known out of the five T.I. (Clifford Harris) whose name happens to be on the back of the uniforms for P$C. P$C's debut album has sold around 180,000 copies. Now why is T.I.'s name on all three uniforms? Well, I couldn't find the actual names of the other four Pimp Squad Click members. Believe me, I looked and looked. T.I.'s number is 80, the same year in which he was born. I used gold, which is in my T.I. sig (that I just recently put back up to illustrate my point) and the old Atlanta Braves colors, a lighter blue, red, and white. They are after all from Atlanta, gotta represent. The rest is self explanatory, I suppose. What do you think? Yes, those are the Atlanta Falcons numbers. As for the alternate, it came down to red or blue, kind of like the Philadelphia 76ers. If you recall, they had a blue alternate from A.I.'s second season until last season, now they have a red one. I chose red here, because I think it looked better. The blue did not look as good, so red (well, actually it's almost a maroon) was the choice here. C & C as usual. Thanks.

those look pretty solid. they are pretty much clean and straight-forward and i like that. my only question is why does PSC deserve to be the second group honored? i can understand NWA being first, but PSC second? unless they are your second favorite rap group of all time, then i feel like a lot of groups have been skipped. anyway, keep up the good work on the jerseys, these are fun to look at, a good break from everyday concepts. Are we going to get to see D12, Boogie Down Productions, Clipse, or Mobb Deep? please say yes.

P.S.- Big Kuntry King's real name is Sean Merrett according to wikipedia. If you ever need to find real names again, this website is good: http://www.whudat.com/hip_hop_real_names/

Nah, P$C is nowhere near my favorite rap group/artist, though I do like T.I. as a solo act a lot. My favorite rappers/rap group ever is Gang Starr. This information can be found out in the thread about N.W.A where I also said that I would reveal these concepts in no particular order. I'm not necessarily doing the concepts in order of terms of greatness between each rapper. I guess I'm just doing most of my favorite rappers/rap groups in no particular order. As for any of the rappers you or cappital suggested, eRay, all I can say is maybe...

What is I done went and started???

(Nah, I'm messin...I guess "off-the-wall" fantasy leagues such as this and mine just speak to the creativity of us all...from many different facets. Good $h!t.)

I peeped out the NWA one, and although I know it may have been easy to go with blue and/or red, I think it's good that you went the way that you did (although I would have stuck to the black, white, and silver--but then, Cube always was the most visible in that group to me...but that's a whole 'nother story...)

I'm liking this, though, for real. So tell me...is this concept going to be themed around groups or, more so, "cliques", I should say? If so, then it'll be interesting seeing what comes about when comes time for groups like Slip N Slide (that'd be Trick Daddy and 'em), the "Roc", Dipset (who I really don't care for, but...), B.O.N.E., Swisha House (THAT one should be interesting), CMR (Ca$h Money...if that generates any interest), and, of course, Dungeon Family, Purple Ribbon, and Goodie MoB (and that's just cuz OutKast is my favoritest group of all-time, hands down, not a singular solitary question asked).

Then, of course, I know the Wu is gon be in there somewhere, along with Bad Boy, Death Row (perhaps?), No Limit, just to throw out a few...

(sitting waiting maybe not-so-patiently for that OutKast/Dungeon Family set...)

*Disclaimer: I am not an authoritative expert on stuff...I just do a lot of reading and research and keep in close connect with a bunch of people who are authoritative experts on stuff. 😁

Well, I can't say that your Airline Football League didn't completely inspire me, Bucco :D . Actually, this was supposed to be just Team T.I., but then I thought to myself "Isn't T.I. in a rap group as well?" I think that even though I am mostly focusing on groups (N.W.A, P$C, you'll see who else as the series goes on, etc.) I'll do (did, will be doing) solo acts as well.

Sugarhill Gang?

Man, the Sugarhill Gang. Going OLLLLLLLLLD School on me here, rainmaker :D . I like 'em though, perhaps you'll see them, who knows...
