  1. I saw the Nebraska photo and my first thought was a David Klingler Houston Cougars throwback
  2. These actually look far better than the teal/purple sets used in the 90s.
  3. Almost looks like a YB for Yinzburgh but I’m hoping that’s not it
  4. Next year is the final year for adidas.
  5. Kaiser and Swedish Health (And Virginia Mason Franciscan) are non-profit providers.
  6. Wait they use the regular home/away number font for the helmets, but some sort of boring block number font for the jerseys? These would have been way better with the home/away number font.
  7. Essentially an adidas Mix Tape jersey. I sort of like it, but it's not in my top-10 of anything. The hanger effects are getting better, which is cool.
  8. Looking forward to a 2.0 template with more New Era-style realism, with the bill wildly off-center, or the bill curves to the left at a 30-degree angle, or the logo is off-center, or the curve in the hat is actually four bent folds in the brim.
  9. What were the responses from the people at work?
  10. They have to wear red socks with this one to really make it work, and so far they haven't (which is weird...because technically they could).
  11. This is far better than what they went with...with their hankering for a military theme, the sand really works.
  12. And change the C/A back to black outlined in white (instead of the current white outlined in black). When you see Lindros and LeClair photos from the 90s, the black letters just look better (though apparently the font changed a bit along the way, as the A's below aren't quite the same). Sometimes It amazes me at how bright arena lighting is, because the orange was never as vibrant in real life as shown below...but the vibrancy here just looks great and adds to the legend of this set, IMO:
  13. Two are acceptable? Ok great. The Jets' white helmet with green pants should be perfectly fine, then, according to your silly, arbitrary rules...if we consider inverted stripes "a new striping pattern". Is this a bad look? I mean, the blue pants have the exact same striping pattern as the helmet, so it should be perfectly acceptable, no? The 80s Patriots had the exact same striping as the helmet, and that's trash now? The current Bengals have the exact same striping as the helmet, and that's trash now? Is this Oilers look trash? Nope. Pretty classic, actually. This is one of my favorite college games of all time, due to the snow, the lighting, the gold vs. silver...and the overall simplicity of the uniforms that don't have copy/paste stripes everywhere:
  14. Lol yeah it does. I’d rather have blue pants and the extra color than just a generic, cheap looking all white look that kids’ teams wear because they can’t afford the away pants.
  15. “Every team with a white helmet should only wear white pants and nothing else” is just as insane.
  16. All white doesn’t look better. Don’t really need ICY whites for every team that has a white helmet.
  17. This is the first anyone’s ever said Buffalo’s white on blue or the Titans’ white on powder are trash, which makes your whole take kind of a waste of time. You’re just being contrarian for contrarian’s sake.
  18. This feels like something they came up with before the full time switch to the Kachina. Desperately needs dashes of green/purple/orange. The wordmark doesn’t do anything for me, and will look worse for everyone else without the captain’s C.
  19. There are so many teams at the pro and college level that make this “rule” questionable at best.
  20. Anaheim wore Rawlings jerseys in 2002.
  21. The way the helmet was maroon fading to black was odd…just regular maroon helmets would be nice.
  22. Illinois should be getting new jerseys and I think @29texan had mentioned TCU getting new unis (I think this was last Sept or so). Florida State might be changing back to pre-2014 unis (announcement to be made in late summer). Vanderbilt might be getting new unis to catch up with their 2022 logo change.
