  1. This is depressing. You're still allowed to look back fondly on teams that were fun to watch, or big moments that had you jumping out of your seat cheering. One of the best sport moments of my life was seeing the Browns win a playoff game, against their rival and ending a 17-year winless drought at Heinz Field on top of it all. I obviously wish they could have won the next game too, but I still watch highlights of that wild card game to this day and it still makes me smile. I'll be watching highlights of that game for the rest of my life and reliving how I felt that night.
  2. Claypool has quickly become one of my least favorite Steelers. Remember last year when he said "the Browns are going to get clapped next week so it's all good" on his livestream after the Browns ended their season? I'm not sure what was more embarrassing - the Steelers playoff performance or the fact their butthurt receiver was trash talking the team that just spanked him. He went on to say the Browns were acting classless because they were making fun of Juju's dancing. I personally couldn't care less if Juju wants to pretend he is iCarly and make a million videos of himself dancing, that is his choice. But don't be surprised when the other team mocks you for it - especially after you belittle your opponent to the media with the "Browns is the Browns" comment. Sorry for ranting, what were we talking about? Oh yeah, Chase Claypool is chump.
  3. That Preds jersey is just awful. When I saw the numbers on the back I thought it was a Steelers jersey. Just plain awful.
  4. Literally no one is saying anything about them being worthy of death. We are saying they have a lot of obnoxious fans.
  5. Not exactly the same because we are discussing pro sports, but I've worked in marketing at a handful of mid-major schools. If we are hosting a popular big-name opponent we would make it as difficult as possible for visiting fans to get tickets for that game.
  6. I think what @Sport is trying to say is that Pittsburgh fans in general, specifically Penguins and Steeler fans, are the worst. And he would be 100% correct. It is scientifically proven when you look at the correlation between sub-par french-fry sandwich intake and obnoxious sports fans.
  7. You would think so. I'm ready to basically restock my entire line of Cleveland baseball gear in one big purchase. New hat, jersey, shirt, hoodie, pullover, jacket, etc.
  8. Yikes. Should have made this post from your dupe account, man.
  9. Or we could just point out when any organization does something horrible - whether they are an Original Six team, a meme team, or something in between.
  10. Well technically they are tied for 7th with Florida. Both have +2000 odds.
  11. If you ask most Steeler fans here in Pittsburgh they would say he is a bust. But they also think yellow dish rags are sacred, so their opinions might need to be taken with a grain of salt.
  12. They all sound awful to me right now. I was trying to smack talk some Steelers friends the other day and saying "I can't wait for you guys to go 4 and 12...er...I mean 4 and...uh...13? That doesn't sound right?" I have to sit there for a few seconds and do the math. But, I'm also a giant idiot, so maybe I'm not the best example.
  13. I always liked the Aviator Blue, but I do think the Heritage jersey fits better with the Jets identity.
  14. One of my roommates in college had a Palmer jersey from this uniform set. I honestly never knew he didn't wear this uniform in a regular season game. I saw my roommate wear that jersey so often I guess my brain thought Palmer must have worn it for a good handful of games his rookie season at least.
  15. Yeah, I agree the reasoning he gave was odd. Maybe the decision was made many months ago when things were more murky regarding attendance and they started planning for 2022-23 from that point on - that is the only thing I can think of.
  16. It sounds like the Hurricanes requested to move their Stadium Series game back to 2022-23. I wonder if those jerseys that leaked a few weeks ago will be what they wear, or if they are going to go with something different.
  17. Hurricanes Stadium Series leaked on Reddit?
  18. Just signed up too. Let me know if anything else is needed!

  20. I miss Benny Parsons and Allen Bestwick calling NASCAR races.
  21. Another NASCAR one: I was a Jerry Nadeau fan as a kid. His career-ending injury at Richmond was hard on 10 year old me. But I had hope he would come back the next year, since he kept saying he would after he fully recovered. Once 2006 came around and he still wasn’t in a car I figured he would never race again. As far as Nadeau on the track, losing the 2002 Sonoma race was probably the most heartbreaking of all his tough luck losses. Had that race in the bag, and then suffers rear-end gear failure with two laps to go.
  22. I was only 5 years old during Game 7 of the 1997 World Series, so that one didn't hurt as much for me as the 2016 Game 7. But the first Cleveland sports loss that really hurt me was 2007 vs the Red Sox. Up 3-1 in the series, the Indians lose game 5 at home with Cy Young winner CC Sabathia on the mound, and then with Cy Young vote-getter Fausto Carmona in game 6. And of course Boston won game 7 easily, and go on to sweep the Rockies in the World Series. I was in high school when this happened and up until that point I didn't believe in any Cleveland Curse. After that...I became your stereotypical "woe is me" Cleveland sports fan for many many years. Going 0-16 was tough to swallow (obviously), especially having the final nail in the coffin occur in Pittsburgh the way it happened. We're driving late in the game, in Pittsburgh territory, right outside of the red zone...and then Corey Coleman drops it on 4th and 2.
