    Your opinions are definitely not unpopular. I wouldn't ever say either one of you are bad hockey fans. It just doesn't matter to me if NHL players play in the tournament or not. I am locked in either way.

    I am in agreement with @Sodboy13 and @the admiral. The NHL and IOS will survive without each other and I personally enjoy international amateur tournaments like the World Juniors. This is far from a dark day in hockey.

    The semantics are wrong because he did wear kelly green for his whole Eagles career. But this is the uniform for which he is associated. Right team, wrong uniform.

    I don't believe the white helmet was made up. There was a prototype that was a white shell. EDIT: Here is a picture.

    I still think of him as a Red and not a Cub, no matter how many championships he may win in Chicago.

    I love the blue and green for the Canucks and I never want them to change. However, the black, red, and gold were the Canucks' colors when I was growing up and I do have a soft spot for them. The spaghetti skate logo leaves much to be desired, IMO.

    There USED TO be a heated rivalry between the Sixers and Celtics. It mainly was in the 80s and it didn't continue because there has basically been 25 years of bad Sixers basketball.

    I don't think this is unpopular at all. But someone really needs to own powder blue. The Royals, more or less, just dabble with it.

    I would guess it stopped when the divisions all had an equal number of teams. I think it was 1995, when Jacksonville and Carolina came entered the league and there were 30 teams.

    I'll offer my two dull pennies. The Islanders will find a home close by as some of you have mentioned. Carolina will head up to French Canadian land despite Bettman pleading Karmanos to keep a team he can't afford. The Phoenix/Glendale/Arizona/Tempe Coyotes will move to Houston, where no one cares or to Seattle, where they will play in 150 year old Key Arena.

    I liked the royal blue for the Patriots so much more. I remember being disappointed seeing that change.

    Most of these announcers will not criticize ANYONE. It doesn't surprise me that Musberger defended Mixon. I'm just surprised that he pretty much doubled down.
