  1. I tried wearing high socks this year and I love it. I feel more like a baseball player now. It's pretty cool.
  2. Thanks alot! These look great. I can't wait for the other leagues to be posted.
  3. That one Coyotes jersey is cheap, but the prices of the other jerseys seem comparable. The prices of the Edge jerseys are what make me a bit suspicious. The site is set up really well though, much better than most of the Chinese counterfeit sites.
  4. I'd agree, if it wasn't for the 2012 set. Personally, I hate new jerseys that are just copies of old jerseys. It smacks of laziness... though I might feel differently if the Marlins went back to their 1993 look. The Jays' new unis aren't copies. Modernizations were made, which I vehemently approve of. And does a team really have to be "active" when it wants to return to a classic look that fans have been clamoring for? I agree with you completely. I don't see any issue in reverting back to your best-ever look in which you won the World Series twice in.
  5. They look fine when I click on the link... But when you go to use the templates, they are pixelated and don't really work like they should. I don't get why Photobucket shrinks these templates but the ones on the first page are fine.
  6. yes league decisions are subject to the whims and ego of Gary Bettman and not the best interests of the team owners who want to make as much money as possible "no doubt" hahahaha you idiots won't be happy until every Canadian city with more than 30,000 people has an NHL team OMMF. Not this again. First of all, CRichardson is American, which completely throws your argument away. Second of all, I have never met one of those "all Canadian cities deserve a team", let alone one on this board. No one thinks Saskatoon deserves a team. No one thinks Fredrickson deserves a team. No one thinks Moosejaw deserves a team. That notion was only created by people like you. The only thing I - and people like me - want is for the Coyotes to move to Québec, and perhaps another Ontario team down the road. That's it. Eight, maybe nine Canadian teams. That's all. I'd actually rather see Seattle get a team over Toronto/Markham. Anyway, point is nobody wants 30 Canadian NHL teams. Not 25 either. Not 20. Not even 10. If I had a penny for every time Ice Cap went through this, I'd be filthy rich. Oh, look. Ice Cap just went through this with you. How did I know? Exactly! Sometimes I just can't get over how dumb some people are.
  7. Tampa also has blue stanchions. I think they look pretty cool.
  8. It is an excellent question. It really is. The Coyotes had no real ownership prospects last year (I still doubt they have any this year), and Atlanta had an ownership group, granted one that wanted out. It seems like the logical thing to do would have been to get the Coyotes off the league's hands by selling to TNSE and sending them back to Winnipeg while convincing ASG to stick around for a few more years until a buyer could be lined up, either in Atlanta or elsewhere. Yet it was the team with an owner that was sent packing so the team without one could remain without one. What kind of sense does that make? Exactly, at least Atlanta could have survived another year or two. They needed to pull the plug on Phoenix. It's just really stupid. OITGDNHL
  9. Legit...I buy gear from them And they have Mooterus for $25! They also have the old Might Ducks teal jersey (not the Wild Wing)... in toddler size I might just get it to hang up in my room or something.
  10. From Colorwrex: Looks to be correct.
  11. I'm not 100% sure because I'm on my tablet right now but those pinstripes look awfl thick. Again, I don't know for sure.
  12. The new templates are way too small, smaller than the other ones and they're really pixelated. Could you please fix them?
  13. When somebody purchases the team and decides to relocate them.
  14. Sorry if this has been asked before but where can you get replica rings and how much do they cost?
  15. You need 500 posts before you can do that, you have 123
  16. Wait... batting helmet plus glove? He would wear his batting helmet at first base because he had a brain aneurism in college.
  17. I played spot the fake at last night's Jays game, it was awful. About half the Jays jerseys were fakes. I could tell because the letters in the Blue Jays script were a bit tall and many of the jerseys used the old split numbers, not the new ones.
  18. Anyone know what font is used for the "Miami" script?
  19. Probably because you'd only be able to see the opposite end of the ice due to the location of the rink and the pitch of the stands. There's "limited" view, and then there's "really f'ing limited" view. Those would likely fall into the latter category. True. But still, that is the :censored:tiest setup I've ever seen for hockey. Now I really hope the Isles don't move there.
  20. I couldn't disagree more. Let the teams that these guys play on retire their numbers, but allow other players on other teams who may grow up idolizing these guys to "honor" them (which I think is ridiculous, but I know I'm in the minority there) by wearing their numbers if they so choose to. I have no problem with league-wide jackie Robinson tributes or memorials, because it's a story that needs to be known by everybody, but I don't like seeing #42 hanging next to Mike Schmidt's, Steve Carlton's, Richie Ashburn's, and Robin Robert's numbers. That's why Boston does it best. Their retired numbers are in red, and Jackie Robinson's number is in blue.
