It's always going to get to the point of learning to live with it since the average fan doesn't give two :censored:s about ads on the jerseys and we are a small niche. We can't change anything as long as the majority of fans don't care. We're just a bunch of angry nerds in our little corner of the internet.

This is being used to deepen the owners' pockets. Players vs. owners isn't a both sides thing. Not every player is a multi-millionaire.

The 2000-07 alternate should've been the base for their Edge look and it's a look that would've looked great even today. Even if you replace the 3D logo with the 2D version, it would still look great.

Holy Christ that is a special kind of awful. It would've taken one of the best alternate jerseys in league history and turned it into an easy frontrunner for the worst jersey of all time.

While I agree with the decision to keep the gator on the helmet because it's a timeless look, the F alternate helmet would look a lot better with the italicized F they've been using since 2013.

That is absolutely not an unpopular opinion. The only time that you don't see the Bears' uniforms ranked near the top of the league is when the ranking is by some high-school-aged OMG MAKE THE ENTIRE LEAGUE LOOK LIKE OREGON SWAG SWAG FIRE EMOJI kid.

The Senators should've adopted the 2000s black alternate as their primary. Yours is a good midpoint but I'd make the gold stripe wider.

That is definitely an improvement over the original Fisherman jersey. While I would've dispensed with the wave striping myself, I think at least going with block name and numbers goes a long way towards making the jersey passable. I've always maintained that the Fisherman logo was never the problem. The jersey was always the problem and on a more conservative jersey, the logo looks fine.

I may be a traditionalist but historical precedent doesn't always make something look good. For example, it'll never happen (especially with Nike throwing white at home out of the window) but the Lakers have almost always looked better in their Sunday whites than they do in gold. They should've switched to white at home full-time years ago.

I wish I could like this more than once. The NCAA really needs to reign that crap in. No more oversized helmets logos and no more asymmetrical helmets with different logos on each side or a logo on one side and a number on the other. It looks dumb in college and it looks dumb when the Steelers do it.

Gonna have to disagree with you there. The Oilers' current uniforms are the best they've ever looked and putting on the dynasty-era uniforms isn't going to make Wayne Gretzky want to suit up to save the sad sack of a franchise.

That's why I said they barely qualify as BFBS. For them, it was a wholesale change but it was still entirely unnecessary.

I love that sleeve stripe. That is really nice! However, with the wingtips positioned where they are, it almost looks like the jet would be flying in the opposite direction from the way the player is moving, but if you switch them and put them on the back of the sleeves, they wouldn't be visible. Hmm...

Switch the shoulder patch out for the shoulder patch from the 2013-16 alternates and you have perfection. I would say that the Ducks barely qualify as BFBS considering that they ditched one of the best looks in the history of the league to satisfy Brian Burke's West Point fetish.
