  1. I'd love to see the Eagles add a pair of midnight green socks to their uniform. I'm at least curious about how that would look.
  2. I wouldn't be shocked if those are just some kind of glitch. But I definitely hope they're real and we see them this season!
  3. What we were all afraid of with the helmet ads.
  4. Everybody knows Michelangelo was a strict grey facemask guy.
  5. I can't say these are better than the current uniforms, but I can't say they're worse, either. A lateral move from one excellent set to another. I wonder if the success of the RR jerseys has something to do with this, since they're based on the same template.
  6. I've been a Pats fan for my whole life and I just learned there's a Pats player that shared my last name. I need a Len St. Jean jersey.
  7. I read that as them thinking about adding red pants to wear on the road, not creating a 1980's throwback set entirely.
  8. Not sure if we should put stock in this, but I figured it was worth sharing.
  9. I can't believe I've been on this forum for a decade and we're still having the grey facemask debate. It's what really makes this place feel like home.
  10. The font Denver uses is great. Whatever they do, they should keep that.
  11. Can you name a rule that's changed? Teams are wearing more combos now largely because they have more pants and socks. That didn't happen because of a rule change.
  12. Yeah, the one helmet rule isn't something archaic. It's very modern. We already know what the league looks like without it. There's throwbacks with accurate helmets, and no crazy extra uniforms. If they repeal that rule, there's no reason to believe every team is going to have 5 helmets.
  13. On the All-22 footage, it's almost impossible to identify some Patriots players due to their lack of shoulder numbers. Would be interested to see if any Rams or Chargers fans have had the same issues. It's frustrating.
  14. I didn't realize just how similar Jacksonville's teal and Philly's midnight green are until I saw this pic. They're really not that different.
  15. I hope the Jaguars wear the teal pants on the road, too. Teal over white, white over teal, and black over teal should be their uniforms.
  16. NFL 2020 thread is locked, so I'm posting this here. Didn't realize it in live time, but Mecole Hardman was straight up wearing the wrong socks during the Super Bowl. How does that even happen? The NFL needs to get it's sock situation together.
  17. When they paint the Super Bowl logos, how do they handle the gradients?
  18. The Chiefs also changed their uniforms in 2012 when they moved to Nike. The stripes on the cuffs got moved to the sleeve.
  19. I think Arizona deserves a shoutout there, too. When the roof was open for SB XLIX, the lighting all game was awesome.
  20. I totally missed the road part of that comment. My bad lol. The answer is still yes. They wore white over white at least at New England in the 2012 Divisional Round. They also wore all-white as a Color Rush matchup with New England in 2016. There's a game at Indianapolis in 2009. As far as I can tell, these are the only three times. One playoff game, one color rush, and one regular game. Houston lost all three.
  21. Yes, every season since 06 except for this past one.
  22. Those are really really cool. If you can slide the final score in under the logos, I think you really have something there.
  23. I don't love the black endzones, but I've started to come around on them. It is fun to have some kind of a tradition for this specific game, something about the design you don't get at other games. I do wish they used the conference or team logo in the endzones instead of the CFP one however.
  24. I think there have been rumors about the one helmet rule changing, although I may be misremembering something I saw on here.
  25. You know we've gone too far when Oregon is the team wearing school colors in a bowl game.
