  1. Tamp Bay and Toronto share two colors so it’s relatively easy to get them mixed up. Baltimore and Minnesota share three colors so it’s easier for one team to have a heavy focus on one of those three. As is the same with the other. Minnesota has purple and Baltimore has black. However, that doesn’t mean they absolutely need to shut out the other two colors from the limelight. For instance, this was truthfully a decent one-off for Baltimore, IMO. It can be done with pants on whim, so why not go ahead with a different helmet color?
  2. Great job on Vermont and Boston! Would love to see you do Mount Saint Mary’s
  3. Teal and Columbia Blue helmets seem pretty reasonable and self explanatory to me. Not sure what was so hideous and gaudy about the description.
  4. Agreed. I expect WFT to take full advantage of the two-helmet rule once the rebrand rolls around next year
  5. and the nearly invisible helmet stripes.
  6. There is the Portland Diamond Project that aims to build a sustainable MLB Level Ballpark for whenever MLB is ready for relocation or expansion https://portlanddiamondproject.com/ballpark-concepts Which includes Russell Wilson and wife Ciara as Investors/Co-Owners
  7. More power to them, honestly. Some may look fine, some may look like :censored:. You can’t bar a team from using a main color to its fullest capacity.
  8. The difference is Minnesota uses black as an accent color to purple while Baltimore treats purple as a primary color alongside black.
  9. So Baltimore can’t have a purple helmet because “bUt tHe ViKeS uSe pUrPLe tOo”
  10. Everything about this quote is great until you get to the gradient part. That tells me it’s more of a faux back with gradient elements than it is a true throwback to whatever uniform he’s talking about. Unless he’s just talking about the entire uniform set as whole.
  11. The only flaw IMO is the away set. Too much is wrong with that, but great with everything else
  12. It’s a uniform that deserves to be left in the past. The “throwback” status is a memento of what was. I don’t mind if they bring it back with modern touches. One of which is a better logo.
  13. Agreed 100%. Ditch the current jerseys. I’d go as far as keeping the white pants around for alternate looks.
  14. Now that the 49ers have a throwback home and away set, I hope this doesn’t turn into a Dolphins situation where everyone is clamoring at the idea of “They should just wear them full time.”
  15. How about none. It doesn’t make any sense for the Bears to have any other colored helmet unless it’s a different finish (like matte or satin) or a faux leather.
  16. You know what, I was going to write a scathing response, but after review... I like this idea a lot. Definitely a different play on throwback uniforms.
  17. Eh, much like the Seahawks, they look better in grey/silver pants compared to white. If the uniform change is true for the Lions (which would take place after this season), all they need to do is use the number font from the throwbacks, maybe have a double outline, and if they absolutely insist on keeping “WCF”, move it back to the chest. Everything else is fine, IMO.
  18. Assuming that third set is the color rush option, it seems too dark
  19. A white helmet for the Ravens just seems counter productive given the theme of the team
  20. I never said they need one, but in the event they decide to have one, a purple alt helmet is the best option.
  21. Member Brandon Moore did a fantastic job with that- https://www.behance.net/gallery/95979231/Baltimore-Ravens-Re-Brand-Concept
  22. I don’t know how to explain it, but this feels... right? Is it because it’s that much of a better uniform compared to its successor?
