I too agree that the heyday of a national level Arena league is behind us. A uniform set of rules would help, but regional leagues are probably the best for sustainability.

One thing I don't understand is why it had to be collectively bargained, unless the players wanted a cut of a new revenue stream. I thought that wasn't the case, and that the money was going to the owners (and presumably trickling to the players through the higher CBT, which we all know won't actually happen.)
That’s exactly why it was collectively bargained. It’s another revenue stream to add to the pot and how’s its split.

I did come across this yesterday, no word on PxP but says Al Michaels could be a 1 year option. Strahan might also be one of a few options as well as Sean Payton and the quick rising Greg Olsen.

Seriously, right after I just got my hand slapped for a non-logo related post in this thread from last June!?!?!?!?! You better duck.
No, you were not penalized for your post from June. My reminder earlier was in regard to the conversation here. I linked the thread from the appropriate section for reference, and your post was just the first one there.

My ideas for RR's for next year:
TBL: I assume we'll see a Black version of the BOLTS jersey.
I assume you mean a black version of this:
That somewhat happened already from 2014-17
I am really hoping its something based off of this, probably in black

PADRES!!!
Colorado looks solid. I always thought that Purple and green from the 1998 All Star Game would be a good combo for the Rox.

Let's try to keep the updates about the league itself to the thread in Sports in General, and keep this one for logo talk.

Was that a Hall of Fame game?
No, Jacksonville and Carolina played the HOF game in 1995.

So Derek Jeter stepped down as the CEO and in that amount of time removed all the character out of their ballpark and uniforms and accomplished nothing on the field. What a schlub.
Jeter was not the primary decision maker, just part of the group that bought the Marlins. He may have been the face, but thats it.

Too bad we have to wait a year. I wonder if this supply issue will affect any other teams planning for a secondary shell?
Seahakws have shared the same messaging recently. In a perfect world, 2022 would have been possible I am sure.

I’m only seeing ST hats no BP hats yet?
Thats all we'll get now. You might see the same hats sans the side patch later in the season.

I'm surprised the Rays went navy and yellow instead of columbia and yellow.
Looking at all of the hats, no one has a columbia blue base hat. Makes me think that New Era chose to not produce light blue in this style?

I wish the Rays weren't so insistent on the burst. This style, with the standard TB logo would be fine.

Same guy said this on Twitter earlier today as well. The validity of his Mahomes report gives me a feeling that he's wrong on this news too.

Another question is about the timeline of the new arena itself. No not the new one that they’re hoping to build the new ASU one… According to the school’s website about the project, it’s supposed to be completed in December of 2022. So does this mean the Coyotes are starting a whole half season on the road? Or are they just going to not play in front of anyone until the building is done?
December would only be about a month and a half after the season begins. The Islanders played their first 9 games on the road prior to opening UBS Arena in late November. It's not too far fetched.

It happened to me this morning, but when i closed Chrome and restarted a new window it worked fine.

Can we please make it so that I can actually see where to go to react. I know where to go based off trial and error, but wish i could SEE it.
We are trying to see if there's a way to make the button visible, but as of now this is a quirk of the software out of our control.

This is the latest release of BP/ST hats since at least 2013...we've only seen 39thirty versions that are tonal mesh hats, and I can only find leaks for Nats and Blue Jays.
There's a New Era tweet that says ST hats will be released in late February.

It's quite possible everything got put on hold/delayed due to the lockout. I understand it's a different side of the business, but usually new gear is released just prior to players reporting. With players report dates up in the air, it was probably a good decision.

Yes, I caught this last week as well. Now that the DH is across both leagues it makes sense to have more crossover and balance. I get that division teams should play most often, but when approximately half of a teams schedule is within the division it gets a little monotonous.
I am curious how the breakdown will shake out to.
