  1. https://ballparkdigest.com/2018/09/06/its-baby-cakes-to-wichita-southern-league-to-new-orleans/ so far half right, New Orleans to Wichita all but official.
  2. Yeah the IL South and IL West are interchangeable. I guess i just saw a good cluster in the northeast, but either way works.
  3. I have wondered if a split of AAA baseball into 3 10-team leagues could be a possibility in the future. Am I being too ambitious? You could see something like the following. I know it would break up the National Championship, but could something else take its place? New PCL Tacoma, Sacramento, Reno, Fresno, Vegas, Salt Lake, San Antonio (former Colorado Springs), Round Rock, El Paso, Albuquerque New IL Louisville, Toledo, Indianapolis, Columbus, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Lehigh Valley, Scranton-WB, Pawtucket/Worcester New League (I'll call it the Federal League for intents and purposes) Oklahoma City, Wichita (former New Orleans), Omaha, Iowa, Memphis, Nashville, Gwinett, Durham, Norfolk, Charlotte
  4. So if we are speculating...i feel like its New Orleans moving to Wichita. NOLA is the one that stands out that has the older venue that needs replacement. New Orleans also falls in the SL footprint, not far from Biloxi and Mississippi. If NOLA opens up to the Southern League, its not Mobile (they're going to North Alabama soon) but it could be one of the three in Tennessee The Jackson Generals, Chattanooga Lookouts, and the Tennessee Smokies all play in dated ballparks and might be on the block. I feel like its going to be Jackson Generals but no clue.
  5. Yeah, these are volunteer positions...thats not the most logical solution.
  6. There used to be an option to request with the board operations team (Chris and someone else I think) but it got too convoluted. I like you have been a member for more than 10 (prob more than 15) and not really an Astros fan anymore like i was back in high school, but ive learned to embrace this moniker here and everyone recognizes it.
  7. Yeah, ive always wondered how much the additions of Pensacola and Biloxi might have affected this...
  8. I was thinking the same thing, i didnt realize the Bucs wore the white pants that early into the history of the red and pewter.
  9. Army Ants and GloWorms are the best of the bunch, and that’s being nice...
  10. Oh god, the North Alabama/Huntsville Southern League team for 2020 released its top 10 name candidates https://whnt.com/2018/07/26/ballcorps-releases-top-10-list-of-madison-minor-league-baseball-team-names/
  11. Ugh....my local minor league team (and team i thought would never play this game) is doing a what could've been night. The Clearwater Threshers will play as the Clearwater BeachDogs in August. https://www.milb.com/clearwater/news/the-clearwater-beach-dogs-to-debut-on-what-could-have-been-night/c-286086510 ...at least its not food...
  12. @mr.negative15 it works like that in desktop version, but @BringBackTheVet is right my main issue is with the mobile platforms (ipad for me)
  13. Im not getting the Amazon popup page, but on mobile and desktop the new ad package is very overwelming. I am fine with the banner at the top and on the sidebar of the forums, but the damn popup one that shows at the bottom of my browser every time in switch pages is getting a little annoying. Is there another option we can consider?
  14. Tampa hosted the Florida State League ASG on Saturday....not sure if this logo made it here. And it was announced that Jupiter will host next year
  15. Well, AA wouldn't happen since its nowhere near the Southern, Eastern, or Texas Leagues. The only AAA option would be the International League, but expansion at the MLB level would be their only option if they're interested. For Grand Rapids, its pretty much Midwest League or bust.
  16. This was a throwback for the Fort Myers Miracle from 2012. https://www.milb.com/milb/news/miracle-unveil-20th-anniversary-jersey/c-27745714
  17. Who is the third one? Its just the first one slightly slanted left and a different red.
  18. I just noticed this the other day as well. That logos been in the set since the 2004 rebrand, but not used that often.
