  1. Yeah being from Tampa, and only ever going to Miami proper twice....half the drive is going from Tampa to Palm Beach county and the other half is the rest of the drive to Miami.
  2. I didn't imply that Sunrise would be a better option, but who knows....just speculation.
  3. Miami is a bad measuring stick because while the Marlins got a brand new stadium, it's location still hinders it much like Tropicana Field and the Rays. The population (and money) in the Miami area is a little bit north in Broward County so if Marlins Park was built a little further north and optimized it's location that may have helped overall.
  4. Anything's possible if you don't keep up routine maintenance. (just speculating on my part)
  5. Update to Rays news, the ownership says “We have sites in mind, and it’s a question of what will get done around the site and how are they going to get paid for,” he said. “And once municipalities are able to line those things up, not completely buttoned up but at least to a good extent, then we’ll be able to make a decision.” Sternberg said they were hoping to have a decision by the end of the season, but the end of the year may be more likely. http://www.tampabay.com/blogs/rays/sternberg-rays-ready-to-make-quick--decision-once-they-get-stadium-options/2332121
  6. Might be tough since I believe the Spurs own the hockey club.
  7. This being the former owners who had legal issues with their logo or something like that?
  8. Just another thing to consider in the whole Mike and Mike situation... Report: Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic barely speak to each other, show atmosphere is ‘poisonous’ & The icy breakup of Mike Golic and Mike Greenberg
  9. True, it's probably not at the point that Vegas needs a squad of their own just yet.
  10. Absolutely agreed, and I was referring to something not Predators. Admirals is great...I say stick with it.
  11. Maybe new logo means new name for the Norfolk team???
  12. At least they're keeping the Americans name....
  13. Texas Americans is the clear frontrunner, with North Texas maybe not far behind. LoneStar, DFW, and Dallas all can be thrown out...
  14. Also note the new Jazz unis from the 90s and the old logo on the court from the purple and gold era.
  15. Yeah and I'm sure $$$ talks in the right situation.
  16. Hopefully with a new logo too...because this is so weak for an identity called the Mavericks. http://content.sportslogos.net/logos/93/2919/full/ksiqdletsrp0rnuc39bbeqq2k.gif
  17. Well technically Vegas has been established as an expansion team already, so contracting the Coyotes is the only choice.
  18. Kinda obscure....Brock Lesnar as a Minnesota Viking..
  19. This might just be me speculating, but the team only has a 3 year lease with Osceola County and they just became a Braves affiliate. Fast forward to 2020 when the Braves open their new spring training ballpark open in Southwest Florida. The Braves say they want an FSL team there so the Fire Frogs could be a short term solution.....but that's just me reading the situation.
  20. The road gray is the best of the bunch, and that's not saying much.
  21. Too bad they went the stupid route of using their location identifier "Florida" when clearly theyre in the Florida State League and all 12 freaking teams are in Florida.
  22. The FSL's Fire Frogs will unveil the new uniforms on 2/15/17 according to their twitter.
