Saw some Dodgers players wearing the regular LA hat with the Spring Training jersey and it really drove the point home that they need to wear the blue for regular season games. It's just too good to never be worn.

There's this interesting quote about the Lions alternate helmet. Sounds to me like this alternate could be their helmet for 2024 or it could easily fit into the uniforms for then. By the way one of this site's very own dropped some interesting news. Here comes the long awaited Browns white helmet and Elway throwback??

You're absolutely right. The 90's logo had that weird shadowing inside the letters and now that I realize this, it's the one thing that bothered me about that logo and I never realized it until now.

Milwaukee is like an hour from Chicago. Makes sense to me that Wisconsin would have some Cubs and Sox fans.

I don't think it's the true primary though, their website is still just the regular colors. It seems to be one of those stupid pseudo primary logos that have been happening over the past several years throughout various sports Los Angeles Rams in 2018 and some others. No teal in sight for Spring Training too.

I was playing MLB The Show 23's demo the other day and I noticed that all the in-game logos for the teams are their cap logos but one stuck out to me and it was the Diamondbacks. The game has the teal logo for the Diamondbacks. Very weird.

How about ESPN on FX? Yes, this is what a lot of the XFL games will be on this year. FX is airing sports (not counting UFC) for the first time since MLB in the early 2000's. -
I just realized the Knicks are using their old logo on their Statement shorts. I guess it visually fits better but that's not the teams logo anymore so that's pretty stupid when you think about it.

When the ad is bigger than the hat logo or a team sleeve patch then you have a serious problem.

I love this hat. The Mariners promoted the hell out of it back in the late 90's but I never saw it in action myself. Despite all the emphasis on the hat they just rarely wore it and then dropped it despite it supposedly being a favorite among people. The below pic is from a 1997 game.

I wish the Nets just made the Coogi pattern a permanent part of their identity. The version with the Brooklyn script on the front was great and it was even better that they had Coogi patterned accessories, something I have never seen in the NBA before, usually you get solid color accessories but the Nets went all the way with a pattern.

I actually liked this jersey. I have no idea what on earth happened here, it was a total blink and you miss it alternate.

The problem right now is that the best case scenario for the Lakers is to wear yellow as much as they possibly can. They did this to themselves by creating a non standard purple jersey. It's better looking now but it's still ridiculous. I've gotten use to yellow on the road at this point as a result of their Statement uniforms being wrong. At the very least they will actually look like the Lakers most of the time time and that's what matters most. Also, the yellow looks great in Brooklyn.

This is the only time yellow accessories worked for them. It doesn't look good with the powder blue jersey.

I disagree. Having the lanes there makes it look less bare and adds contrast, not to mention it's what I have grown up watching. Look at the Lakers Forum court and try to tell me it will work without the college lanes. It doesn't work, the red adds contrast In fact, here is the original Forum court. It didn't have the college lines and you can see how wrong it looks. It also makes for better design in general. You can't just put little vertical splashes of paint and consider it a contrast, it's supported by the line itself too for it to really work.

I actually like the Eagles black jersey, I just hate it with the black pants. It's a nice alternate look with white pants. What I really want to see is them wear the black jersey with the midnight green pants again. They haven't done it since 2003 and 2004. Both times they just so happened to wear it against the 49ers and Bengals. That's quite a coincidence. Also want to give a shoutout to the all midnight green, I also liked that. The all black sucks though. If there's no green for the Eagles then they look wrong and stupid.

Anybody notice the Magic's Statement court has stars in the college lane? More proof that eliminating those lines isn't a good idea, it really limits creativity in what you can do.

HBO Max aired the US Women's Soccer Team playing against New Zealand. I know the NHL was suppose to be on HBO Max but it hasn't happened for some reason. This might be what the NHL looks like if they ever do get games on there. -

A large majority of Rams fans just did not want the navy and white. They gave fans a choice of at least changing to the helmet and pants in a fan poll because people just didn't want to see St. Louis colors. They absolutely had to do blue/yellow.

They are invoking the Cowboys blue jersey curse. Did you really think a team that wears white at home frequently wouldn't attempt this in a Playoff game?
