  1. I forgot that the Warriors did wear 2007 Throwbacks in their final game at Oracle Arena in 2019. It was a surprise too cause they already had a throwback that season, they maxed their uniform slots out but somehow got permission to pull it off.
  2. Remember when the Grizzlies decided to focus on red in the final year they used teal? Also if you notice in the rafters, they have banners of the then-new Nuggets, Cavs and Rockets logos at the time, even though said banners would be gone the next year since the team moved to the FedExForum. They even got a Bobcats banner up there even though they didn't even play until the next season.
  3. I mean a lot of people my age remember them as a top team with that look so yeah I'm sure some people love it. I actually really like the home look they had, for some reason the colors just went very well on this one, the away and alternate are just okay but the home was real nice.
  4. What is so interesting about that place is the roof looks like an office building. I've never seen an arena look like that. Supposedly the Suns and Mercury wanted to play the rest of 2020 there after the Covid lockdowns but both leagues switched to the Bubble instead.
  5. There is no way the logo won't be on the sleeves. It's the defining feature of the jersey. The real question for me is what number font will they use? Will it be the fat block one from before 1994 or the sort of sans serif one from after?
  6. Wow, I had no idea the Citgo sign was that old.
  7. One of my favorite old spots is the Memorial Coliseum in Portland. One of the coolest looking places to me when I would see old footage and images as a kid. The building seems to be very usable still. I just saw a game the other day on ESPN between UNC/Alabama that went to QUADRUPLE OVERTIME and it was in the Memorial Coliseum. Looked great. I get why the Blazers had to move on, it was too small but it had a cool atmosphere. Also it has windows.
  8. That's the worst part about us being into uniforms and stuff. We are basically forced to deal with nonsense because at the end of the day caring about that part is kind of foolish in the grand scheme of things. Take the NBA for example, there are advertisements everywhere and it's pretty awful but I love basketball so I still put up with it no matter how much I hate it. It's frustrating as hell.
  9. Jets won't wear green jerseys until Week 15 according to GUD but I don't know for sure. Were the white at home games actually scheduled or is it last second superstition? It's very weird that the home jersey has been shunned this season.
  10. The lighting in the Silverdome was pretty bad. You wanna talk about things being soulless, well that place looked like a dungeon or a sound stage. Several NBA arenas had this problem too, like the Great Western Forum and Portland Coliseum. I don't completely hate how these places looked, there is a charm to things look dinky and old but we have giant TV's with 4k resolution now and can probably see every single crack in a building. Looking back on it now, it's actually wild how much better arena and stadium lighting has gotten.
  11. Make the pants shiny and it's perfect.
  12. They basically wore a 1970 throwback jersey but had to wear white pants with it for a couple years, it was similar to the Packers where they didn't want to really try. First year it had a black stripe on the pants: Second year they had a silver stripe for some reason: After those two seasons, the NFL ended the mandatory Color Rush program and the Raiders paired the jersey with regular pants and socks to make it a 1970 Throwback. The white pants and socks will never be seen again.
  13. They usually only wear it during primetime game so it will either be TNF against the Rams or Christmas Eve against the Steelers. The rare exception was 2020 when they played the Chargers in an afternoon game.
  14. It wouldn't be terrible. It actually matches which cannot be said for Denver. GUD has a graphic for 1970 pants too. Not sure why they think it's possible, they didn't even get an all white Color Rush back in 2016 when they could have.
  15. Check out this Pacers prototype jersey from 2005. They must have really wanted to do an arch on the front.
  16. The Saints could literally wear the throwback pants/socks with the color rush jersey. I do it in Madden all the time.
  17. Blazers missed the opportunity to put the carpet pattern in the paint. How do you make a jersey based on a carpet and then don't have the carpet pattern anywhere on the court?!
  18. If the Packers actually wore green socks with that all white look it would be a really really nice looking.
  19. Man, this place is going turn into a war zone when someone makes a uniform of the jazz cup pattern... EDIT: Welp.
  20. Found some pictures from the 1997/98 Preseason where some games used the ABA ball. Yes, that's Kobe Bryant dunking with an ABA ball and it's amazing.
  21. I'm surprised nobody pointed out that the Timberwolves City jersey will have a different pattern on the front for every player. Also, check out the laughable explanation for the colors on the front...
  22. The Kings jersey has had a weird reception but I personally like it. It should have been their alternate when they rebranded a couple years ago because randomly inserting black was stupid. It's nice to see Sacramento back on the jersey.
  23. I'm not sure what's going on but it appears the City uniforms will be debuting in games over the next two nights. Weird that there's no unveiling ahead of time, or maybe there will be but at the last second?
