Interesting uniform matchup going on with the Brewers and Mariners here in 1994. Definitely not Spring Training either. I didn't know the Mariners ever wore teal on the road.

It's because the color rush uniform is a fauxback. There are some differences with the NY on the chest and white socks. Yes, it's stupid that they have a fauxback and a throwback.

This is what I don't understand. All these teams want to just insult our intelligence by finding some cute excuse to debut an ad. How about just tell me you want to make money? They want to soften the blow but the problem is there is no softening being punched in the face. There is nothing to celebrate with this crap. Oh yeah man, my family is just absolutely zonked out of their minds that Motorola has a logo on the Padres jersey! That's exciting news! Kings aren't going away from purple folks. There's zero chance of that happening, plus retro merch is popular in the area I think but not enough to switch to it full time. The smart move is to keep it that way, you sell that and you sell the purple. I don't like teams doing dual identities but in the Kings case it works.

You know what, that's exactly what it is. The Griffey video game and this are the reasons why I think the Cardinals wore that jersey. I was just a kid at the time so I didn't know any better.

This jersey was in the Ken Griffey Jr. games on Nintendo 64 and is why always thought the Cardinals had a red alternate as a kid.

This just reminded me how much I like this jersey and wish the Cardinals would stop screwing around and wear it in games. Their cream alternate has always been lame to me. Phillies red alternate is nice too.

Man, nobody remembers that late 90's Hornets look. I always forget it existed and those teams were unremarkable even if Baron Davis and Eddie Jones were notorious. I personally didn't like the look but it would be interesting to see return as a throwback, maybe I can learn to love it.

The jersey numbers saying 23 seem to be a pretty good indicator that this is probably happening. Usually when prototypes or media guides are out showing uniforms, the numbers on the jerseys correspond with the year of the season. The numbers being used are the Cavaliers old numbers. Why the hell did they pick that? I've never seen a team take a custom number font like that. This leads me to believe this might be BS.

This is ass. Meanwhile they did something way better in like 2018 or something.

What? NFL teams only have 3 alternate slots per season. Did I miss something?

Why the Kings haven't used this more often is beyond me. They used it on two alternates but when they did it didn't work with the rest of the uniform. Especially the black one, they just threw it on the Home/Away template. Speaking of Kings alternates, I actually really liked the City uniform this past season, they could build a new uniform set around it.

I want a full name jersey or it's not worth it. I want "Puddin' Head" on the back.

The Braves City Connect is a tribute to Hank Aaron so it does make sense why that would exist. It's the same reason the Lakers had the Black Mamba jerseys with Kobe's dual numbers on it because it was a jersey designed by him and at this point is a tribute.
