  1. I don't understand it either. Out of all the teams I expect to screw up new uniforms, the Lakers weren't on that list and yet they went and did it. I don't hate the look, I hate the fact it's the only purple jersey the team has. It would be an okay alternate jersey or something but it can't be this. I would understand if it was the year 2001 and they did it, but they did this in 2018. All the teams in sports that have unnecessarily added black have gotten rid of it by now (except the Reds for some reason) but the Lakers did the exact opposite, it doesn't make any sense.
  2. The issue with this theory though is that the Browns mannequin had orange pants. Those pants supposedly didn’t even exist in April 2020. I think whoever set up those mannequins had no idea what they were doing.
  3. Hey they actually get a diamond to go on throwbacks again like in 1994. It’s like a throwback of a throwback that’s a fauxback! Aaaaaaaaaahhhh!!!!!!!!
  4. The Cavs will have had 3 changes in 11 years. They really need to stick with something.
  5. It's funny you seem to think the one helmet rule is all that's stopping it.
  6. An all black uniform is something I've wanted for quite awhile, but other than that and maybe silver numbers on the road, they don't need to mess around with anything else.
  7. Cavs got it right in 2003 and proceeded to screw it up after Lebron left for the Heat.
  8. Broncos look got worse looking over the years as the materials and the way players wear their jerseys evolved. What looked good in 1997 just doesn't look good anymore.
  9. NO. Throwing back to when the team was absolute trash is not going to work. Nobody has any fond memories of that look aside from basic nostalgia of "I remember that." I use to be a 49ers fan as a little kid and I did not like that late 90's look. The gold pants coming back made it more tolerable but it just wasn't doing it for me.
  10. I think that Browns jersey is almost a confirmation that the one helmet rule has been changed. The rumors of the Browns having a white helmet have persisted forever and there's no reason to wear this jersey unless you have the proper helmet or else it's just the regular away uniform with drop shadow.
  11. I am terribly sorry for saying this but this looks very penis like. I've been staying home for too long.
  12. I don't know about the difference now to be honest but at the time in 1995 when the Jaguars came around it was different enough and stayed that way for a long time.
  13. I actually like this road look for the Giants alot aside from the pants striping. If they used the red/blue/red gray pants then it would be an accurate throwback too. It really pops.
  14. The thing about that 49ers throwback is that it has the wrong details but that was a common occurence with alot of the throwbacks in the 1994 season. This is the real one.
  15. It’s only a problem if the NFL lacks guidelines. Primary and secondary colors only. Black is not a team color for the Rams at all so its eliminated as a possibility. That’s how you do it. Make it as simple as possible, only color swaps, no logo alterations, etc.
  16. In my opinion if you don’t want the one helmet rule to change then you can’t have throwbacks ever again either. Pick one. Either the throwbacks are accurate or you don’t get to do it.
  17. Don’t be surprised if Washington breaks out the yellow pants next season. I assume it’s still an option if the throwbacks are still around.
  18. Do this. Clear decal instead of black so the Panther blends with the helmet to create a panther in the shadows.
  19. Brad Daugherty played for the Cleveland Cavaliers from 1986 to 1994. He was injured when the Cavaliers switched to their weird paint splash era, however, he's still in the video game NBA Jam: Tournament Edition on the Cavaliers which is based on the 1994/95 season with the updated logo. This also happened on various trading cards. It turns out he apparently had an actual warm up and jersey made according to game used auction sites but they just didn't get worn because he ended up retiring before he ever could suit up in it. I even found a throwback for him. I didn't know the Cavs wore throwbacks in the 90's but this says they did.
  20. To continue the Pippen party, here he is in a throwback that he never wore but Jordan did.
  21. The way I look at it is that the X in XFL can stand for whatever you want it to be. If you really want to see it as Dogbutt Football League or something in your mind then go ahead.
  22. Thank god we're going to get actual field designs for the teams this time around. The original XFL had generic end zones for every single team and it sucked.
  23. Uniforms are alright. Anybody else see that the teams each have their own football? Interesting twist, however I'm not sure if players will appreciate different color balls for every game. Might give them problems.
