It's weird realizing the NBA On NBC didn't have a scorebug in it's final year. I didn't notice it back when when I was younger but now in retrospect I realize how ridiculous it was they broadcasted the 2003 Finals like that. Every network had one by then.

You say you started watching football in 2009, well let me show you what NBC was using in 2003 for it's Notre Dame games. Thankfully we were spared of seeing this often because NBC didn't have the rights to the NFL at the time.

I was playing NBA 2K22 and noticed they added the Rising Stars uniforms and they are WAY better than the All-Star uniforms. There are actually 4 different uniforms, I picked the ones that matched Cleveland for this picture. The other uniforms were Navy and Teal. No idea what they will actually wear in the game.

The thing about black jerseys is that you can make it work even if it's totally unnecessary if you just stick to what the people know of the brand. Take the Detroit Lions or LA Lakers for example, they shouldn't be good but they manage to work out and it's because the black is applied in a normal manner and not some dumb in your face nightmare like the Commanders. I know it's not everyones cup of tea but to me these were "done right" and inoffensive to me. Even the Arizona Cardinals usage of black is better than the Commanders.

It will be fine. The jokes will stop soon because they aren't funny. It's like making a poop joke about the Cleveland Browns or making a... very bad reference about the Green Bay Packers. Every team has some sort of stupid joke and it doesn't hold up as much as you would think. It's just the lowest form of humor and eventually people will get over it.

The only way to salvage the home and away looks are going to be in the uniform combinations. Burgundy over White, White over Burgundy, etc. You can make it tolerable. The problem is you shouldn't have to find ways to make something tolerable, you should have gotten it right the first time! I really love the burgundy helmet though.

These uniforms would not have happened if the team name didn't change. If they were still [REDACTED] then they probably would have brought out the Lombardi Era throwback again. Most importantly, this stuff is only happening because Dan Snyder is a piece of trash. I'm glad they changed their name but any other team would've done this sensibly.

I really don't understand why some people want the Raiders to have a black facemask. The Raiders should never mess with their look, but if they have to, all they should ever do is have black pants for an all black alternate but even that feels like it's going too far. Just leave it alone.

Cowboys at Chiefs in 2009. Both teams wore throwbacks creating an NFL vs. AFL throwback game between the 1960 Dallas Texans and the 1960 Dallas Cowboys. After only 5 years, the Broncos wore the Orange Crush uniforms as a throwback. Here's a pointless fact: The Cowboys actually wore the white double star jersey in a Preseason game against the Broncos in 1995 so this wasn't the only time the Double Star and Orange Crush faced off.

Just played the Xbox One version and this doesn't seem to be the case.

I have a good replica of a Los Angeles Raiders hat like this that I bought on Amazon once. It was an official NFL product too. They don't do it like that anymore for some reason, I'm assuming whoever owns the Sports Specialties stuff told them to not get so close to the design. The one Gruden wears now isn't even close to the classic font, it's more of an inspiration.

The Raptors and Knicks played each other on November 1, 1996 and wore throwback uniforms for the 50th Anniversary of the NBA. They will play each other again on November 1st in 2021 for the 75th Anniversary. I can't help but think that was intentional.

So let me get this straight, the Pistons changed from the Bad Boys uniforms in 1996 then proceeded to wear them again in 1999? I looked it up and it was "Bad Boys Reunion Night" in the arena. Why wear something you just got rid of? All that's gonna do is annoy the fans.

Saw this on Reddit and Twitter but have no idea of the source. It matches the leak from months ago. A mashup of all Lakers eras. The only thing that's completely off is that there's no diamond Nike logo or diamond NBA logo so it may be a mockup.

I get Madden every year mostly because of changes like this, I just can't help it when it comes to that stuff. I mean I enjoy the games because I guess I'm simple but yeah.

Man, I was hoping the Giants actually went through with new white pants at home but oh well. I love the idea of blue dominant home and red dominant away, it's an interesting quirk. Also, I find it really funny that these white pants were probably brought in just so that they could have a stupid 10th Anniversary "throwback" uniform. HOW THE HELL ARE YOU GONNA HAVE A THROWBACK TO SOMETHING YOU WORE A YEAR AGO?!

The Giants are moving to northwestern stripe pants for home and away? Interesting. I'll have to see in in action before I come to a full conclusion of what I think but just from that image it looks pretty nice on the away uniform. If they really do have blue stripes on the home white pants then I don't think that will look good but we will see.

Yes, it's a photoshop. We won't see Russ in a Lakers jersey for real until like September or October when they do media/press stuff like usual.

It's nothing new. Reebok had been doing weird hat designs for years back in the early aughts. I actually had one and it actually was my favorite hat for awhile.
