  1. For the sake of the Pac-12, I hope the UC Regents block UCLA from going to the B1G. I think Bill Walton has my favorite take on this whole ordeal... "every argument made by these senior AD’s and why they like it, is about money, these same proponents of moving to the Big 10, are the first people I have ever encountered in my life, who have claimed economic hardship and limitations in Los Angeles, and that the solution lies in the Midwest"
  2. I thought they might try to go with a 30,000 capacity since it's in Willets Point.
  3. Hopefully they'll have the Sather Stripe down the center to match the rest of the uniform
  4. Why didn't you read in a book that Portland has a famous ugly airport carpet? Pay attention in school man!
  5. Except SMU is small private university (would have smallest undergrad and total enrollment in the Pac-12) that only ended it's religious affiliation a few years ago. And it's located in Texas. I do hear they have trouble with filling their stadium though too, so at least they have that in common with the rest of us.
  6. What did you want from Portland instead? Sublimated hipster flannel with an IPA label looking work mark?
  7. Well that's a whole different argument (and one I agree with you on) than "I'm not from Portland and have never heard of their weird beloved airport carpet so therefore it's dumb wahhhhhhhh".
  8. And now you have. That's the whole point of the City Edition series. I never knew about Boathouse Row in Philadelphia, the old Mecca court design in Milwaukee, the Guardians of Traffic in Cleveland, or the numerous city flags and obscure city nicknames before they made it onto NBA uniforms. Some teams use the City Edition uniforms to showcase historical landmarks, beautiful architecture, different cultures, local icons, and whatever else matters to their city. The Blazers chose to showcase an airport carpet that is weirdly very beloved by the city for no reason, which is the most Portland thing that the Blazers could have done with these uniforms.
  9. I love everything about this except the no outlines on the script and numbers, makes the jersey looked unfinished.
  10. Gretzky era stripes and this crown in black & silver would be the perfect Kings jersey imo Or update the Chevy logo with this font
  11. Pac-12 chaos is so fun, I love it. Bad for getting into the CFP but still so fun.
  12. It's going to be so weird having Southern Methodist University from Dallas, Texas in the Pac-12 lol
  13. Does the piping/swoosh/number outline teal not match the carpet teal?
  14. Different sport, but what about yellow accessories for the Braves and red accessories for the White Sox? I think the yellow accessories work with the Braves since there is yellow in the axe, although Acuna wears way too much yellow. If he kept it to just batting gloves and arm bands than it'd be better, the cleats and arm sleeve is overboard. I do not like the red accessories with for the White Sox though.
  15. I hope the Galaxy bring back the navy blue away kits in 2023, it's such a clean look. It'd also be cool to see a yellow third kit eventually, similar to the old yellow training kits but maybe with a sash like the pre-Beckham home kits.
  16. Allegiant had a lot of Broncos fans in Week 4. Everyone talks about this happening to the LA teams but it happens to the Raiders too. If the A’s continue to be cheap asses that sell off the whole team every couple years then the billion dollar Vegas stadium will eventually be empty just like the Coliseum and on weekends it’ll be filled with opposing fans. The A’s don’t have an Oakland problem, they have an owner problem.
  17. Boise State and SMU looking very similar this week.
  18. Yeah, definitely has. Maybe in an expanded pro/rel MLS but even then probably not. It's kind of a shame too, the Cosmos brand and history is so awesome and unique but meanwhile the current NYC MLS teams are just parts of larger global soccer corporations.
  19. The A's would play in Oakland until the Vegas stadium is done like the Raiders did.
  20. It'd still be cool to see the New York Cosmos in the MLS one day.
  21. St. Louis City's new stadium looks pretty sweet. I think a lot of the newest MLS stadiums look pretty similar (Columbus, Nashville, Austin, and now St. Louis) but St. Louis may be the best looking one. Cincinnati also looks great, but I think it looks more like Red Bull Arena then the other ones I listed.
  22. Seems like Texas Tech wears the throwbacks more than the regular uniforms. It is a great look though, just make it the full-time uniforms already.
