  1. Fair enough, wrong choice of words. What Fenton just did would qualify as a legit taunting penalty IMO. Also, this defense is making me gag on what I said about Spagnuolo earlier this year. And that’s a good thing.
  2. I know that its technically against the rule of taunting, I just think about 95% of the instances where it’s enforced is total BS. Especially this one.
  3. How the is pointing at a guy when you score a taunting penalty? When even Troy Aikman thinks it’s excessive…
  4. You know, that does make somewhat more sense than using the Memorial Coliseum there. At least it has luxury boxes.
  5. Tbf, Austin might as well be a part of Canada. So, it’s not completely out of nowhere.
  6. Looks like if you wanted to own part of an NFL Franchise, here is your chance. Packers are selling stock again. I’m actually thinking about buying a share myself.
  7. This is by the far the best game I’ve seen the Chiefs play all year. Play like this on a regular basis and I think it’s safe to say that their demise has been quite exaggerated.
  8. Hail to the Landover Handegg Club. EDIT: And the Steelers tied with the Lions. Huh.
  9. So Sternberg is getting outed for robbing Peter to pay for his yacht and this absolutely exceptional idea of having two cities share one team is about to die? Feels good, man.
  10. I’m surprised we haven’t seen more threats of revoking anti-trust exemptions over issues like that. Politicians will gut their own mother over a few million more in pork for their 5 mile wide House district. What could be a bigger bit of pork than a pro sports franchise delivered by government mafioso tactics? Let’s go Royals!
  11. I’d like to think after the St Louis lawsuit is blowing up in the NFL’s face that they’d take the hint and settle with Gruden before this goes to discovery. Expecting anyone in the NFL to make the smart decision from Roger Goodell to DeShawn Watson seems to be way too big of an ask though as of late.
  12. Maybe it’s a bad idea for fan interest but it’s a great idea if you want to keep costs down. IIRC, TSL has been the only alt-league to profit. I think they’re trying to get sponsorships going first before they try to invest. As for my opinion on this particular strategy? And I only mean it semi-ironically. They should get credit for going a different route.
  13. The Raiders won a Super Bowl while in LA. Absolutely crushed Washington.
  14. I’m just glad Brett Veach didn’t take him. We already have Josh Gordon and aside from one really good catch, he’s done nothing.
  15. Neither of those schools have football teams, though. They’d have to raid some other schools.
  16. Apparently for the first year, they are having all teams play in Birmingham. Then in 2023, four teams will play there and finally in 2024, all teams will play in their own cities. This is of course assuming that this even gets through the first season.
  17. Great, another potential big name with low production. The Raiders seem like a better fit considering there’s no way OBJ can be the biggest :censored:up on their roster.
  18. So far the biggest winner between Kansas City and Green Bay isn’t the Chiefs, it’s Aaron Rodgers. So somehow Aaron Rodgers stock goes up after lying about his medical history in a league with an injury report. And not only did he do that, he didn’t just double or triple down on his nonsense, he quadrupled down. And he still looks better coming out of this game then he does going in. God Bless America.
  19. Quick question, is anyone surprised that Portnoy allegedly does this kind of thing? Maybe that’s also why you’re not seeing a fevered pitch to cancel him yet.
  20. I’m just mad about not seeing a Mahomes-Rodgers matchup. Thanks, Xi!
  21. Because Texas has been in the news a lot lately. Attention=$$$. And any organization with a competent fundraising arm knows to strike when the iron is hot.
  22. I’m at the game, can confirm, Zeon Kansas City is exhausted. Would be great if they can pull off the win, but my point still stands.
  23. Yeah, I’ve seen more times a team played like the Washington Whatever Team rather than an all-star lineup when loading up on veterans. The Rams should probably contend for a Super Bowl this year but after this year?
  24. Going to the game against the Midgets tonight. I don’t think I’m going to learn anything about the Chiefs if they win, but if they lose? Maybe it’s better if they lose. Might light enough of a fire under everyone’s asses. Or cause heads to roll. Either option is fine by me.
  25. I only wish Norm MacDonald was still alive so I can hear what he would have to say about this. Also, New Orleans’s ability to just keep plugging along is amazing. Sean Payton should be in the running for coach of the year if the Saints can keep this up.
