Everything except "Holy City". Ugh.

Their right.

What year is that from?

I'm a sucker for blue and green, so I'm a fan of the middle and green hats.
That is nice, although I have an unreasonably strong reaction to caps with contrasting bills but not squatchees.

That Wimbledon logo was used. It was featured on their website and some merchandise.
Not as much as they originally intended, but not "unused".

The Colts did add silver, albeit briefly and 20 years earlier:

Basically what the title says.
for me there is this yankees uniform. I wouldn't use it as the road but a alternate. note: image isn't working, click the link
I don't think that mockup is right - the pants should be navy with white pinstripes as well.

Yes. That's from the designers' site showing the options considered. That loon was eventually incorporated into their current shield.

They made the right choice there.

Yeah, I think it's probably best just to back away from the whole thing. Doubling down on a flat attempt at humor isn't often the best idea.

Yeah, I stand corrected. I was thinking pitch sizes, not capacity.

Can be, but aren't always. Aren't the Brazil venues now lying vacant?
It'll be good to have the World Cup in the US, with all the new SSSs.

Yes.FIFA is anti-American, I hear that the 2026 World Cup will be in North Korea.
They hate America so much that they hate Coca-Cola, VISA, and McDonald's
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Tank wasn't serious. Mockba had the best response.

Pretty sure Portland is nothing close to Wild West either, so how does Posse make any sense?
I don't know, this worked pretty well:

If that wasn't itself already a reference to a car, I'd be with you all the way.

I'm not usually in favor of making fun of foreign-language names, but dear gods that man has earned every bit of derision we can send his way.

Nope - I complained about that a couple pages back.

Well put.

Atlanta 2017 have finally got round to updating the MLS logo in their pre-launch badge.
Red and gold. I like it. They don't need the black as anything more than the tiniest of accents.

Oh, I don't know. I think the wordmark itself has an appropriately medieval feeling to it.The design is smooth and fits in fairly well with the region (as they intended), but it makes for an awful disconnect with the team name. It just doesn't scream "Knights" like the previous logo. The dark, sleek aura of the last one fit perfectly:
I can see that working quite well on a jersey. Although they'll probably insist on keeping "Corvalis" above it, which would be a shame.

I know. Look at the shape. It's a C.
No, it's not. Cs don't have twelve sides.
If they left that end open because they were trying to evoke a second C, after already having a very literal C in the logo, then it's even dumber than I first thought. And my initial reaction was that it was pretty stupid.

I like it overall, but what's with the shield's open end?

I know it is. Did some work there in the 90s. It's a gorgeous city.
Doesn't make using a nickname any less stupid.
