    yeah i never understood when madden went from sixth gen (PS2, Original XBox) to the seventh generation of consoles (PS3, XBox 360) they chose to leave a majority of throwback uniforms out. And even the throwbacks the did include, we would have to wait longer to see full home and away sets for them.

    Because if EA themselves were able to feature throwback uniforms for every team (and NFL 2k, who basically had every uniform a team had worn up to that point including some that didn't exist like the Texans with a white helmet and other fashion jerseys) in 2004, you'd think they would be able to do it in 2024.

    I definitely noticed the difference in blues between the lions jersey and helmet last night, while I was at first excited about the return of the blue facemask, for some reason it looks "off" and actually would have preferred a grey one, if they couldn't match the colors at least.

    They changed the away numbers color's from teal to black in 2004, and stayed like that until their 2009 redesign.

    How is the black helmet better, I barely could tell the difference between the black and midnight green during the Packers game in 2022 since their normal helmet is already pretty dark. I agree with you on the black pants sucking but the black alternate jerseys are fine.
