  1. I've wondered about that. Could they get 2.5 yards every time?
  2. Or a facemask (wrong sport, I know)
  3. Well, since the NCAA has a 16th seed and the NFL doesn't, the expectation that you were talking about the NCAA and not the NFL is pretty high. I was there as well.
  4. Congrats, and welcome to playoff fandom. It will never NOT be stressful. Enjoy the ride - maybe we'll have a rubber game in the NFC Championship (I'm not holding my breath).
  5. Found it https://boards.sportslogos.net/topic/124183-2021-nfl-season-adults-arguing-about-matt-stafford/?do=findComment&comment=3231617
  6. Most people INSIDE Green Bay thought it was a transitional year.
  7. GM, you mean. He'll never fire himself, and he's the problem at GM.
  8. Somewhere in the archives of this here site, I made the point that us Packer fans are the closest thing in the NFL to the BFIB.
  9. I stand by what I posted from having "survived" one of the 5 coldest games in history. For all the hand wringing, can you find any contemporaneous reports of fans with frostbite or hypothermia from those games? As I posted earlier, there's no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing. Yes. It's severe weather. I'm not in the habit of worrying over things that aren't shown to be worth worrying over.
  10. But is it, though? I get that you wouldn't want to go, and maybe that you think the players shouldn't have to play. It isn't going to be deadly - let's not be so melodramatic.
  11. Is it real, or is it to drive up his negotiating price elsewhere? I can't tell for sure. BUT - my hands are DEFINITELY down.
  12. Really helps to read the whole thread before responding TL;DR too late
  13. Ever since playoffs have been held on both Saturday and Sunday, this has happened. You're reaching here.
  14. Shirley, you can't be serious.
  15. Glad I work from home. I've never had MLK Day off. Teams have to have 6 days off between playoff games.
  16. The Bears are the only team without a 4000 yard passer. Philadelphia was the last one off the list in 2019. Seattle before that in 2015.
  17. 38 of the 225 occurrences of 4000 yards passing took place before 2000. That it has happened 225 and the Bears have never done it is pretty amazing.
  18. Been there. Done that. January 20, 2008 at Lambeau. There's no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing.
  19. 5 years from now: We learned that by trying to make everyone happy, we made nobody happy. We're going back to our original uniforms, with a few tweaks that we liked from this last version. -Houston Texans
  20. I'd be surprised if it's real, unless they have a really long waiting list. You don't turn down money because they were sold to the visitors.
  21. Good point. If I were a fan of the Lions, I would NEVER wear that jersey to this game.
  22. They must have had 7PM dinner reservations last night.
  23. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BareKe20.htm I'll nominate this guy as my kicker in the all name team (even though he played TE).
