Brick
Prophetable Colors.http://nielsenhayden.com/makinglight/archi...397.html#005397This blog links to an article whereby the Color Marketing Group declares the hot colors for the next couple of years. I don't know if sports logos belong under action/recreation or communications/graphics. My interpretation of this is that some team will try to bring back the orange of the 1970s Astros. nitroseed
Seriously, where did all the normal colors go? Like, red-orange? Now we have Taos... Grenache... Naughty But Nice???... Hortensia.... Poor Crayola must be having nightmares to match these colors.
TruColor
Further evidence as to why color descriptions mean absolutely NOTHING....and why Pantones mean EVERYTHING.
winters in buffalo
For reliabitly, that's true. But Anuerysm Purple sounds so much sexier than 135% PMS
marlinfan
don't look now but the marlins are implementing more ORANGE in everything. even in hats, which were a nice giveaway and hit with the fans. and an orange t shirt with the marlins script and a player name. not to mention their schedule magnet and media guide. 1997 | 2003
kineaggie05
The Marlins shouldn't use more orange. Their identity is already too similar to the Dolphins.... I would like to see more teams use two shades of a single color with a complimentary color as a highlight.
Discrim
last time i checked the Dolphins didn't have black or silver...this might be welcome, as the Marlins overuse black and silver as it is. i'm shocked Al Davis hasn't sued them yet for the alt. i mean, they hardly use teal anymore, and that's a sad thing. Roger Clemente
For reliabitly, that's true. MonkeyWrench32
PANTONE 747(0)C 137%I don't believe there's a PANTONE 747, so I went with the closest number.
