MigratingToast
Hey guys,I'd love to get your feedback on this simple throwback I made for the Pittsburgh Penguins to wear. It dons the crest of NHL team the Pittsburgh Pirates of the late 20's and early 30's. I think I may want to add more to this jersey to make it more unique. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know! My name is Rod and I like to party.
PhreshPrince12
Beautiful. It's so retro, yet so modern. Great work!

I really loved the logo and wanted to see if I could get it to work with a modern day jersey! My name is Rod and I like to party.
1insaneguy
I like this idea. They could use it as a fauxback for the Winter Classic. I don't know what the Pirates MLB team would think though.

sportsherald
Excellent. This could easily go straight on the ice.Back then, the city's baseball team name often got used for other sports, like football and hockey (the Steelers were also the Pirates for a while). There didn't seem to be legal problems with it in those days. Maybe the baseball Pirates would allow it now, for a share of the proceeds. Use the rules of heraldry for more effective sports logos! i.e. keep it simple, use good contrast...
1insaneguy
Hmm... maybe they could wear it in a stadium series at PNC Park.
