ldconcepts
In this thread, I'll post my ideas for NHL expansion. The teams aren't meant to be realistic, so don't flood the comments with arguments on how Toronto will never get a second team. First up: TORONTO TOWERS This is a fourth update on an old concept (1, 2, 3). I was inspired by the Toronto flag for the arms, and flaunted a unique colour scheme with the same striping pattern on each jersey. C&C Appreciated! zg313
The striping pattern reminds me a lot of Ohio State's football uniforms. But I think it works with the logo well. The shoulders are brilliant, although the red maple leaves get lost in it. Great job on these overall! You know what my favorite ring is? The next one. -Tom Brady

I love the shoulders, and I love the inspiration behind them, but it seems too busy. Maybe removing the leaf might help? "You ain't gonna learn what you don't wanna know..." Maybe removing the leaf might help? Will do. As @zg313 has brought up, the maple leaf idea just gets lost, and it might be too close for a team trying to distance itself from the Leafs. sparkychewbarky
The shoulder treatment and its reference to the city's flag is fantastic...nicely done. The maple leaves do get a little lost, so they might not be necessary. This looks great. I'm curious as to how it would look in just red and white, with two horizontal hem stripes matching the vertical arm stripes. Like I said... the working of the city flag into the striping pattern is brilliant. *The Battle of Seattle

Like I said... the working of the city flag into the striping pattern is brilliant. I'm honoured, sparky! I like that idea, but it's look too much like Detroit. I feel like it would be better suited for a Maple Leafs "City Pride" alt with the Arenas' T crest on the front. The Towers concept will be updated soon, along with a Las Vegas concept. Just for reference, I'll post the Leafs alt as well. In the coming days, look out for Quebec or Seattle! ~Bear
I would like to see more Vegas gold; the home looks to LA Kings. Like the logo though. Pretty good job.
ldconcepts
SEATTLE METROPOLITANS -Two options: Original (too Wild-esque) colour scheme or Seahawks colour scheme -Updated logo -Barberpole striping simplified -Non-block font matches logo -Lack of white on homes Twitter: @ldconcepts / Instagram: @ld.concepts / Website

appleclock
The S kind of gets lost in the logo. Especially in the second set (green and silver don't contrast well enough). Anyway I love the Seahawks color scheme. Not sure it necessarily works with such a vintage-style team though.
eick74
How about using the Supersonics color scheme on the Metropolitans?
