Saintsfan
From everything I have seen and read, Paris is the big big favourite right now, London in second, but I fear fatally hamstrung by Britain's closeness to the USA and its current policies re the middle east. 2011/12 WFL Champions
Mac the Knife
London or Paris is fine by me. If all the empty seats in Athens are any indication at all, it'll likely lose money anyway.

In fact, by then, the United States, and North America as a whole, would be long overdue for an Olympics. Two years is "long overdue"?--Roger "Time?" Clemente. pcgd
Yeah, its North America. And I believe Central America is part of the continent "North America." Which is what I was refering to.And how is 2 years long over due? Our Countries in the N.A. (usually the U.S.) has hosted a ton compared to...I don't know...Spain? Or England? Or Russia? These countries desearve it as well. I'd like to see an Olympics in Africa soon. Doubtful it'll happen cause of economic and security concerns. Egypt probably could pull it off. Maybe south Africa, but doubtful.

Magus
with the problems with the religion of peace in russia i doubt russia is getting the olympics anytime soon. Unless you have your head in the sand you know what im talking about.i could careless where the olympics are held, just stay away from atlanta. it was a nightmare when they were held here in Atlanta. personally the olympics like the DNC and RNC conventions and the academy awards are a big waste of time. grown men competing in 19th century sports.i say hold the olympics on Olympus Mons, Mars. I think it is time the people of Mars got a chance at the olympics. however the moonites on the moon might like the olympics, and no doubt the Titans on the Saturnian moon of Titan would enjoy a chance at the olympics.
