Oklahoma loses the Big 12 Championshio Game

Auburn loses SEC CHampionship Game

USC still wins Pac 10 Auto bid

Utah becoem ranked high in polls so does Cal

However because of USC beating Cal they get BCS bid

Utah gets shutout of BCS so Oklahoma faces AUburn who is ranked ahead of Cal despite in BCS Orange Bowl

Utah ranked 1 in AP wins Coton Bowl split National Title

Cal ranked 1 in Coaches wins Fiesta Bowl

Okalhoma wins Orange Bowl

Three teams claim National Title NCAA decalred a joke.

The coaches are bound by the BCS to vote for the winner of the BCS championship game. Even though some chose not to do that last year, the winner of the BCS championship game will always be the coaches poll champion. You could only have 2 champions in a given year.

Here's the cash flow for the BCS.

The three non-Championship games (this year being the Rose Bowl presented by citi, the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl and Nokia Sugar Bowl) each are guaranteed of a $14 million payout per team. The Championship game (in this case, the FedEx Orange) guarantees a $17 million payout for each team.
