One problem with your bowl picks: you forgot the Big East Champ.

Unless he edited it, he's got WV in there which is a Big East school, no?

That would be correct, West Virginia is a Big East school. I do wish they were going to the ACC rather than Boston College, though.

If Auburn wins out, there's no doubt in my mind that they'll jump Oklahoma

Well, thanks to the disarray that is the Big XII North, I suppose that's possible. At this juncture, assuming the Sooners run the table on the regular season, they are going to play a sucky team (quite possibly Iowa State) in the Big XII Championship Game. That's not going to be good for the BCS ranking.

By how much will playing either Nebraska or Iowa State (Or an outside shot for Colorado or someone else) in the Big XII Championship hurt Oklahomas strength of schedule?

didn't they throw out the strength of schedule?

I don't know. I don't remember anything about that but you are probably right as now that I look, I don't see anything about it in the BCS rankings.

That's pretty stupid, if they did.

Do you have Texas losing somewhere? Otherwise they are guaranteed a spot in one of the big bowls being ranked in the BCS 6 or higher (which is really lower since it goes 6-1. Small pet peeve of mine.)

Texas will lose to Texas A&M, anniversary or no anniversary, I don't see them in the BCS bowl games, Utah will be shut out, due to greed, it's a shame but if they do make it it's because they earned it.

"Nokia Sugar - SEC Champ or at-large vs. ACC-Big East or at-large.

"Virginia Cavaliers vs West Virginia Mountaineers.

"Battle of the Virginias.

"Virginia Wins 28- 17.

"Tostitos Fiesta - Big XII Champ or at-large vs. ACC-Big East or at-large.

"Auburn Tigers vs Michigan Wolverines.

"Michigan wins in a close one in OT: 42-35."

One small problem with that, lilg my friend.

The SEC champ would be committed to the Nokia Sugar Bowl if they don't make the BCS Top Two. Please fix ASAP.

changed the National Championship game to Auburn v So Cal. Thinking about it, Oklahoma playing a weak Big XII North team will hurt them, so I have them playing West Virginia, since Auburn was taken from the Sugar Bowl, and the Sugar Bowl would have first pick so that means the ACC Champion would go to the Fiesta Bowl to play Utah. I put Michigan into the Rose Bowl, and put Utah into the Fiesta Bowl

that may be true, but when a bowl loses the team they are contractually obligated to(BIG XII and the Fiesta Bowl) to the National Championship, they have first right to any other team that is BCS eligible, so lets just say that the Fiesta Bowl chooses Auburn after Oklahoma goes to the Orange Bowl. The Sugar Bowl would have to choose another team.
