NoHoJoe Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 I looking at a post from the New York Radio message board via www.musicradio77.com , and there was a thread about Yankee Stadium PA announcer Bob Sheppard. On post said that he was born on October 10, 1910. If that is true, then he must be the OLDEST living New York Yankee. IF and when he does retire, I will be first in line for an interview! BRING BASEBALL BACK TO MONTREAL!!!! MON AMOURS SIEMPRE!!
JamesCraven Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 I thought he was 206! "I better go take a long walk off a short pier or something."Some people on this bolard have told me to do just that.My "Ron Mexico" alias is "Jon Tobago".

tmorss9 Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 I've never been a Yankees fan, but hearing Bob Sheppard doing what little of the announcing you can hear on TV, his voice sends chills down my spine. Sometimes I'll watch YES just to hear his voiceovers. I hope he's around for many seasons to come. "Hats for bats. Keep bats warm. Gracias"
