when they first made this new rule i didnt think it was fair that they would let UNCP to keep "braves" as the school Nickname. yes i know this school is comprised of "lumbee Indians" but if you make a rule you should not have any exceptions

in the Sunday paper there was an article about the 05-06 NCAA Hockey tourney being held in a "hostile named" arena, not a part of a NCAA school... will they change the arena's name just to host the tourney?

and as a side, you can still buy plenty of native themed merchandise right off the NCAA website, hypocrites?

The 2006 tourney regionals, according to the NCAA site, are to be hosted at Pepsi Arena (Albany NY), Resch Center (Green Bay WI), DCU Center (Worcester MA), and Engelstad Arena (Grand Forks ND), with the Frozen Four taking place at Bradley Center in Milwaukee. Not sure which arena would be referred to, then.

(Wow, the Frozen Four sites are determined through 2012. In order, after Milwaukee it's Savvis Center in St. Louis, Pepsi Center in Denver, MCI Center in Washington, Ford Field in Detroit, Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, and St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa.)

Isn't Ford Field kinda big to be hosting the Frozen Four? Every other tournament is in a 15-20K capacity arena. Wonder why they just don't use the Joe?
