One of the items had a link to this site, which is pretty sweet if you grew up during tose three USFL seasons: USFLBut look at these Chicago Blitz jerseys from 1984. The 1983 ones (think Greg Landry) were clean and simple. But when Arizona and Chicago traded franchises (it's true, Google it!), they went a LITTLE overboard! I'll admit the '83 jersey was more classic, but then again, it was a direct copy of the Patriots' jerseys at the time.The Sorey one, though, is either a fake or some sort of prototype jersey. There was no one named "Sorey" on the '84 roster. Plus, note that the numbers are not done in the Champion font, there is a blue outline around the letters (actual jersey lettering was plain white,) the "blitz" sleeve logos are white instead of red, there should be a thin red stripe just below the bottom thin blue shoulder stripe, and the neck trim should be white instead of blue.Here's a shot of the real deal.'84 BlitzSweeeeeeet.Of course this style could never be done today, as it requires, you know, sleeves. But then I have alwasy liked the bar stripes between the shoulder and arms and different color sleeves. Morons are everywhere, be they noob or vet. Here on the CCSLC and pretty much everywhere else.A guy my sister went to H.S. with a guy who played for the Blitz. I can't recall his name off the top of my head (my memory for that kind of thing sucks), but I have a helmet he wore while playing for them and his '83 jersey.Or, at least, I think I do.
