mjrbaseball
OK, I haven't done a concept in a long time. But last Saturday I was watching the Ivy League Game of the Week on YES, and I was intrigued by the Dartmouth helmets. For those unfamiliar with them, they have the logo on the front, and diagonal stripes on the sides, like this:Anyway, I decided to see what NFL teams would look like if they had Dartmouth-style helmets. Following are the results of my experiment.

mjrbaseball
Why do you have the Cardinals old logo? I didn't have a vector version of the new Cardinals yet. (And for some teams, I used alternate logos because I thought they worked better than primaries.)

ProvidenceRI
Great helmet, awful uniform. The old style of the helmet clashes with the trendy modern uniform.I'm going to post a redesign in the next few days.Maybe the Bengals should adopt this helmet idea. VitaminD
Verrrrrrrrry interesting.I feared the worst when I saw the title. But these actually came out looking really quite good. It's a shame some teams - Eagles, Vikings, Rams - lose the best parts of their helmets because they have to use traditional logos instead of design elements (wings, horns) that they've used for so long.Great idea! "Start spreading the news... They're leavin' today... Won't get to be a part of it... In old New York..."In order for the Mets' run of 12 losses in 17 games to mean something, the Phillies still had to win 13 of 17.

I realize that. As I suspected, Dartmouth-style works for some teams, but makes others look worse.

VitaminD
I feared the worst when I saw the title. What were you in fear of? Carnies. Circus folk. Nomads, you know. Smell like cabbage. Small hands.Actually, I was thinking that they'd all look more like Dartmouth - white helmets and block monograms instead of using team colors and logos. "Start spreading the news...
