... so does this mean the Giants are not completely abandoning the Parcells-Ray Handley-Dan Reeves-early Fassel era wordmark? It left the jerseys and the website, but it still pervades on the end zones at the Meadowlands, and now on this jacket.

... and here's your one deviation from the template that all the other NFL teams seem to have followed (logo left breast, wordmark back). For Dungy's boys, it's reversed.

At least the Saints are consistent. The shades of gold in their jackets don't match either.

I don't think that's an attempt at Saints Gold on the shoulders and cuffs.

It looks like it's a cream color that's an across-the-board thing.

You're right - like the Nike jackets a couple years ago or the MLB "Coach's jackets" seen in the playoffs, these incorporate a natural-color leather.

Interesting - watching the game on Saturday night, I was wondering the exact same thing. The oversize sideline coats players wear draped over their shoulders have the old wordmark, these jackets worn by the coaches have the old wordmark.

Is the end zone wordmark not merchandise-worthy? Or at least not varsity-jacket-worthy?
