Drew22
I'm in the beginning of creating a city with every major sport league franchise. The city is made up ( I think.) It will have a NHL, MLB, NFL, NBA, MLS, Arena and a divsion 1 college. Here is the beginnig of my NHL team: Sampston CaribouC&C on the project and logoDRew Eagles/Heels/Dawgs/Falcons/Hawks
MHraven626
The project sounds like it could be fun. As for the logo it could use a little bit more originality and some more details but it is a good start.

CFSize24
The Pontiac Silverdome, I believe, used to be this type so while the seats in the upper regions would be terrible it is possible to do this. VitaminD
Aside from the comedically-oversized arena - multipurpose or not, you're not going to be able to use 45,000 seats for a hockey game. Even when the Lightning used what is now Tropicana Field, they had to block off some seats as unusable. As for the uniforms:1. NHL = dark sweaters at home, light on the road.2. White helmets with dark sweaters = yuck.3. The semicircles under the arms represent reinforced stitching for elbow padding... it's supposed to be the same color as the rest of the sleeves. These are hockey sweaters, not a sportcoat for an English lit professor. Double yuck.4. White pants on any hockey uniform = double-plus yuck. "Start spreading the news... They're leavin' today... Won't get to be a part of it... In old New York..."In order for the Mets' run of 12 losses in 17 games to mean something, the Phillies still had to win 13 of 17. The_Admiral
4. White pants on any hockey uniform = double-plus yuck. I made a Winnipeg Jets concept with white pants so that at home they could join in the Whiteouts with white helmets, sweaters, pants, and socks. I thought it looked okay, but maybe a little silly on the road. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
maz
NHL rinks average around 18,000-21,000 Not in Pittsburgh But as many as this guy wants... Thats just insane. 45,000!? Youre better off freezing the floor of the silverdome. How many people are supposed to live in this city of yours anyhow?
Bleujayone
I remember Marvel Comics creating an alternative universe where all the cities and states had different names, for their Squadron Supreme book. The states were in different shapes and many of the cities were different in size and significant to their other-world counterparts. Some of the names sound almost legit. Below are some of the real world locations and ther other-world counterparts and some of their cities & locations. Some of their counterparts are more obvious than others...Penn & NJ: Danteana- Hegeltown, Metzburg, VulcanusMassachusetts/RI/ME: Freedonia- Mayflower, Pentucket, FranklintownArizona: Herculanea- Atomic City, HuxleyNevada: Aztecha- Canaan, Great American DesertVirginia: Magelland- Capitol City, Sparta, JeffersonVermont/NH: Moreland- Maslow, Rangeley Mountain RangeCalifornia: New Babylon- Sequoya, Harbor City, AngelopolisNew York/CT: New Troy- Cosmopolis, Pommerschen, Knickerbocker CityWestern NY & Penn: Niagra- Liberty Falls, VisorgogTexas: Olmstead- Alamo, Shrodinger, Crocketteville Illinois/Indiana: Sigmund- Mechanopolis, Laington, SantayanaColorado: Sylvania- Jonesville, Fort LargoFlorida: Vesperia- Atlantis, LemurusWisconsin: Winnebago- LincolnshireMichigan: Wyandota- Motor CityI figure if you're going to make up a city, go all out and make an entire universe around it. Just listed this for inspiration. We all have our little faults. Mine's in California.
