To Make the Braves Deficit now 10 games tied in third place with the NationalsDoes anyone believe the Braves reign as NL East champs is over, or is it still too early to count out the Braves? jkrdevil
It's June. It is too early to count any team out except for the Royals.

marlinfan
I remember one of these "the Braves run is over" threads on a Marlins forum last year (maybe the year before) around this time.
HedleyLamarr
Does anyone believe the Braves reign as NL East champs is over, or is it still too early to count out the Braves? The Braves aren't done until the number in the "Games Back" column is higher than the number in the "Games Left" column.I wish Scheurholz would get it over with and release Reeksma. If they need a guy to come in and give up runs, I can do it for a lot less money....
NJTank
The Braves may be scary only because of 14 years reputation but they aint that good and they wont be coming back.
Sodboy13
With numbers like that in the standings, the Mets' annual, inevitable collapse looks to be more exciting then ever!

TFoA
I wish Scheurholz would get it over with and release Reeksma. Hell yes, he needs to be released. That's been the one revolving door since Smoltz went back to the rotation: Closer. We haven't had a decent closer since then. Hell, we need to improve greatly if we want to continue this amazing streak. 10 games is a big margin, but it's not like we haven't come back from farther behind. Anybody remember '93???So yeah, I ain't worried until they start talking "Magic Number" for the other team.
