I was looking what was revived of the FFP site and came across some interesting uniform combos that I have not seen yet...

The 49ers having white pants instead of gold

When the 49ers changed uniforms in 1996, they went to the white pants shown here. I suspect they were feeding off of their Super Bowl win wearing the throwback uniforms (which featured white pants and drop-shadow numbers) at the end of the 1994 season.

However, they only wore the white pants shown here in 1996 and 1997. They were replaced by the current gold pants in 1998. As far as I know, these white pants are no longer part of the official uniform.

I believe the Panthers only wore the white jersey/silver pants combo that one time, but I'm not 100% sure.

I have always thought that the Panthers would look better, when wearing their blue alternate, with white pants/blue socks. Would give them a "North Carolina" kind of look to them. I think it would make the blue "pop" a little more too (the blue with the gray pants is kinda drab).

The light blue belts need to be burned. They look stupid (and I am sure the players just love wearing a light blue belt).

Carolina's uniform combos should be the following:

White jerseys, white pants, black belt, blue socks, black shoes.

Black jerseys, grey pants, black belt, black socks, black shoes.

Blue jerseys, white pants, black belt, blue socks, black shoes.

And what's interesting is that it's the first time the Hags wore white/white for a road game since they went to Houston in 2003. The coach said they weren't going to wear that combo any more, and always wore black pants with the white jerseys on the road since then...though they wore white/white at home four times since that date.
