Okay, I have to admit it. This is one of my guilty pleasures. I love to project the bowl games, starting sometime around this midway point. Some games are always reaches due to lack of a tie in, or whatnot. Some of the tie-ins have changed for this year so I will include the tie-ins as listed. So here goes. This is my best guess.

New Orleans Bowl - Sun Belt/CUSA - Louisiana Lafayette vs. Texas El Paso

New Mexico Bowl - WAC/MWC - San Jose State vs. Colorado State

Birmingham Bowl - Big East/CUSA - South Florida vs. East Carolina

good call on USC, though I seriously think they could even drop past being #2 in the Pac-10. they almost lost to freaking Washington at home, what do you think is going to happen when real teams like Cal and Oregon come through? Between those two and Notre Dame they could have 3 losses this year.

I thought Ohio State and Michigan were already locked into the national championship when they play The Big Game...seriously, whoever wins that gets their shot, the other gets to play in the Rose Bowl. I don't think Louisville is going to rise that high in the BCS rankings to meet 'em in the championship though, a good bet would be Florida or Auburn.

I totally agree with you, the Ohio State-Michigan game will decide one of the National Championship teams, and the other team in my mind will be the winner of Louisville-West Virginia. Yes, I knwo this might sound hard to believe, but in my ming that team will be the only undefeated team in the nation, other than the winner of Ohio State-Michigan.

My prediction for the BCS Championship Game is West Virginia and Michigan.

Well, I'll go so far as to forecast the fates of the Big XII schools since that's my bread and butter. I'll throw in the BCS tilts as well . . .

Texas Bowl - Big East/Big XII - Pittsburgh vs. Oklahoma State

I know this isn't the way it shakes out in real life, but why should being undefeated qualify a team for the national championship game? Take a look at West Virginia's schedule: http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/teamsched?teamId=277. Any solid team would have a good shot at going undefeated against this schedule. The only serious team they play is Louisville, and they're missing their stud RB and their stud QB is of questionable health.

In my mind, Big East teams should be treated as a class in between mid-majors and BCS conferences... if they play a serious non-conference schedule, they can prove themselves, but otherwise, they shouldn't have a shot at the title game (and no, Marshall, Eastern Washington, East Carolina, and Mississippi State doesn't qualify as serious). Treat them like Utah a couple years ago: Give them respect, a top-10 ranking, and a BCS bowl if they're undefeated, but not a shot at a championship. If you want that shot, schedule someone good non-conference, like Louisville. At least the Cards had the stones to schedule Miami and K-State before anyone knew they would both suck.

That said, either WVa or Louisville will almost surely go undefeated. So the championship game matchup will depend on whether USC falters. And it's true, they play Oregon, Cal, and Notre Dame, but all those games are in the Coliseum. With their young players improving, I don't think they'll lose any of those. So my title game matchup is Michigan vs. USC in an old-school Rose Bowl type matchup.

oh ,my god ,i strong recommend you to have a visit on the website ,or if i'm the president ,i would have an barceque with the anthor of the articel .

I'm surprised so many of you think two Big East teams will end up in BCS bowls. I'd be very shocked if that happened.
