Sodboy13
Looks like the Brigade might not be darkening their blue after all, if this scan is any indication.Though apparently, early in the process, they were considering a darker shade, and perhaps the Toledo template. Also, early word has Vegas with red monochromes at home and all-white on the road. Brian in Boston
Miserable logo... asinine team name when combined with that logo... In other words, About "par for the course" in the Arena Football League.Yeah I personally think they should of been called the bombers because of Whitman Air Force Base that's near by that houses the Stealth Bombers. Would of made more sense with the logo too. Cardinals -- Rams -- Blues -- Tigers -- Liverpool Check out my music!

Fred T. Jane
Miserable logo... assenine team name when combined with that logo... "meh" uniforms.Overall, a complete mess of an identity package. In other words, About "par for the course" in the Arena Football League. That's asinine. Though, in all fairness, it wasn't too bad considering they had even less time to get going than even the Houston Dynamo. Now, the lack of work with a season to get it right is fair game, however... BTW, tsk, tsk. Action Force Font on the first image. Just say "No." to shareware fonts... [Croatia National Team Manager Slavan] Bilic then went on to explain how Croatia's success can partially be put down to his progressive man-management techniques. "Sometimes I lie in the bed with my players. I go to the room of Vedran Corluka and Luka Modric when I see they have a problem and I lie in bed with them and we talk for 10 minutes." Maybe Capello could try getting through to his players this way too? Although how far he'd get with Joe Cole jumping up and down on the mattress and Rooney demanding to be read his favourite page from The Very Hungry Caterpillar is open to question. --The Guardian's Fiver, 08 September 2008 Attention: In order to obtain maximum enjoyment from your stay at the CCSLC, the reader is advised that the above post may contain large amounts of sarcasm, dry humour, or statements which should not be taken in any true sort of seriousness. Brian in Boston
That is a ridiculous statement Brian. The AFL has many identities that are better than teams in the NFL, NHL, NBA or MLB. Many identities that are better than teams in the NFL, NHL, NBA or MLB? We'll have to agree to disagree, because I feel that's hardly the case.Of the nineteen Arena Football League franchises that will take the field in 2007, only three have identity packages that I would say rank with the very best of those in the "Big Four" leagues: the Austin Wranglers, Grand Rapids Rampage and New Orleans VooDoo. Each is, in my honest opinion, outstanding. Names that are either locally relevant (Austin, New Orleans) or alliterative (Grand Rapids)... well-designed logos... attractive color palettes. Just behind these three teams are four franchises sporting what I would deem "solid" identity packages: the Georgia Force, Las Vegas Gladiators, Los Angeles Avengers and San Jose SaberCats. Each has a something going for it, be that a name, logo or palette. However, each is also lacking in an area. For example, San Jose's logo is overly-detailed, while LA's is a bit too minimalist,Beyond that, the rest of the AFL's identity packages vary between "okay" (Dallas, Nashville, Philadelphia), "meh" (Arizona, Chicago, Colorado, Columbus) and "horrible" (Kansas City, New York, Orlando, Tampa Bay, Utah). In other words, I'm of a mind that over half of the league's teams are saddled with identity packages that are mediocre... or worse.
