Slickster
If you recall the original Blitz: The League, you'll love the announcement that this Madden-meets-Any Given Sunday game is back for Round 2 on October 28. The game's developers have announced the 23 teams available for play. In the Blitz universe, all teams are ranked a la European soccer, so there is promotion and relegation.Division 3: Philadelphia Brawlers (expansion team)Baltimore Bearcats Houston Riders (expansion team)Milwaukee Hounds (scab team from players' strike of 2007)Detroit Devils Cincinnati Crusaders Cleveland Steamers (formerly San Diego Cyclones in the original game)Division 2: Los Angeles Riot (expansion)Kansas City Crossfire Atlanta 404 (expansion)Washington Redhawks (former team captain Mike Mexico is in federal prison)Chicago Marauders Miami Hammerheads (moved from Orlando)Las Vegas Aces Carolina Copperheads Division 1: Mexico City Aztecs (moved from Dallas)Denver Grizzlies Arizona Outlaws New York Nightmare (captained by Lawrence Taylor as Quentin Sands)New England Regulars (captained by Packrat James )Vancouver Beavers (expansion)Seattle Reign Minnesota Reapers Check out all the team logos and wordmarks at http://blitzleague.com/
ManCalledAmp
I find some of this amusing. The Regulars shrugging off cheating allegations to make it to the title game AND picking up "Packrat James" (like some suspected the Pats might, as I recall)...Mike Mexico in jail (if we recall our friend Ron...); the shots and similarities are there. Many of these logos and identities are very meh. However, some I like...especially the primary of the Vancouver Beavers. That is one PO'd Beav. The Redhawk logo isn't bad either.Surprised to see the Reign on there; sounds a bit familiar...Gotta also say I like the promotion/relegation aspect of things. However, the league is trying a little too hard to be renegade and "scary" fierce overall. Then again, it is Blitz, so I can't complain too much. Go Gators. Go Blue Raiders. Go Commodores. Go USC Trojans.Preds & Avs. Braves, Rays, & Dodgers. Titans, Colts, Broncos, Cardinals. Grizzlies. 14ers, Jam. Team Spirit + Laziness = Yay. DG_ThenNowForever
They really named a team the Cleveland Steamers? It would have been relevant six years ago, passe three years ago, and now it's almost camp. I'm interested. I don't a single system the game could play on, but I'm interested. 1 hour ago, ShutUpLutz! said: and the drunken doodoobags jumping off the tops of SUV's/vans/RV's onto tables because, oh yeah, they are drunken drug abusing doodoobags
seattlefan68
Surprised to see the Reign on there; sounds a bit familiar...Yeah, it was a women's basketball team in the short-lived ABL in the late 90s.

Cola
while some are still just plain horrible, i will say that the logos have stepped up from past and in comparison to other non-NFL video games.
Waleslax
... and of course, the Denver Grizzlies were an AHL team...The logo even looks semi similar.http://www.snorgtees.com/i_fullpic.php?pi_...s_Fullpic_1.jpg
hettinger_rl
I wish that some of these were vectorized. Some are very original and i'd like to be able to see them better. Guess i'll have to play the game.
santoleri3
Yeah, I knew I'd seen that grizzlies one before. At least 2 of those logos show up at maddenteams.com. So I guess you could have a Blitz team in Madden, if you felt the sick compulsion to do so... Courtesy chapeeko
