Time for another NBA poll. With Denver, Portland, & Utah having idencal records of 41-37 and each with only 4 games left ont their schedules, who do you think will get the 8th spot?

Denver Nuggets

April 9th @Houston

April 10th Portland

April 12th Sacramento

April 14th @ San Antonio

Portland Trailblazers

April 9th @San Antonio

April 10th @Denver

April 12th San Antonio

April 14th L.A. Lakers

Utah Jazz

April 8 @Dallas

April 10th Houston

April 12th @Minnesota

April 14th Phoenix

*If Utah & Denver tie with the same record, Denver gets the 8th spot.

Actually... upon my last check... Houston was only a game and a half up on the 8th place Utah Jazz at the time. So if both the Nuggets and the Jazz beat the Rockets... it becomes very interesting. However, based on having the tie breaker on both Portland and Utah (all the schedules are probably the same difficulty), I'd have to give the advantage to Denver.

I think Portland is screwed getting the Spurs twice and the Lakers. Then again they did beat the Lakers the other night

Judging by their schedules, I would have to say Denver will get the 7th spot, and Utah will have the 8th. Houston is only 2 games ahead of the both of them, and they are 1-4 in their last 5.

So as early as the 10th, there could be a 3-way tie for 7th, with Houston a half-game back?

I live in the Portland area so I am definately rooting for the Blazers. I mean after they killed the lakers at L.A. I think they definately have a good chance to get there. They are doing much better with Ratliff who is averaging over 4 and a half blocks per game on the Blazers, including 8 last night. If they would have aquired Darius, Dickau, Shareef and Theo early in the season they would already be in the playoffs.
