Yes, it was. The Italians have been flopping all over the place and getting the calls.

That's the problem when you play Italy...You need to know you can't touch them or else they'll go down and most likely get the call. It's unfortunate, but a fact of life.

Notes from the first half:

To be 1-1 against Italy at the halfway mark, is stunning! New Zealand must work on their possession, otherwise it will be a long second half with them chasing the Italians all around the pitch. Further, I cannot see the All-Whites sustaining their "defensive trap", in which the method is placing everyone in their defensive portion of the pitch, against the defending champions.
