OMMF
I don't remember seeing this unveiled. *shrug*I wished they had had this type of logo when Seattle hosted it.
zer0dotcom
I had seen the logo, but never a clear copy like this. It usually had a watermark or something overlay. Thanks OMMF, I'll be sure to add it to the site soon.

DEAD!
It looks just like the 2006-2007 SCF patch. Is it official or a fan mock-up?It's official and matches the design of the past 4 Memorial Cup logos.http://www.sportslogos.net/team.php?id=2497I can concur with that. Also, they used the same silhouette of the civic centre as the one on the city's logoThen again, what else could they have used? I saw, I came, I left. CC97
Then again, what else could they have used? A CN Tower off in the distance? --- Chris Creamer Founder/Editor, SportsLogos.Net "The Mothership" • News • Facebook • X/Twitter • Instagram
OMMF
It strikes me as odd that they just don't put the team logo at the bottom. After all, it is the team that hosts it and not the city, right?
oakland ehs
I think it's because it's a very corporate logo... corporate + team identities don't really mix.Plus participating teams wear the logo as a patch.I like team themed... like the Brandon and Rimouski ones recently. erikstoll
I still liked the different logos each year like with Spokane, Ottawa, Halifax, less cookie cutter same old thing...
Frylock
1: I *hate* that both teams playing in the league championships (WHL, OHL, QMJHL) wear the patches, when only one will truly have earned the berth in the Memorial Cup.2: I agree with Erik, having the unique identities of each host team influence the cup patch was really cool.2-B: Erik, what's the history on that Oregon avatar? That is awesome
