The Beloit Brewers kept the BiG identity for a year after the big league club ditched it before rebranding as the Beloit Snappers.

Whether or not I have a problem with MiLB teams using their parent clubs' identity seems to hinge on whether or not the MiLB club plays in its parent clubs' territory. In other words, teams like the Mississippi Braves, Staten Island Yankees or Potomac Nationals are okay, the Helena Brewers and Bristol White Sox, however, are not.

The Myrtle Beach Pelicans didn't switch when they went from Braves affiliation to Ranges... They have one of the best MiLB sets. (not counting the normal cap with the MB logo like it's written in sand. They should switch to the alt full time, which they basically have...)

I don't think that's the case. They became the Snappers in '94 while still with the Brewers. It wasn't until 2005 that they switched to the Twinkies. But, I get your point.

I think you misunderstood. The Beloit club kept their BiG based look for 1994 while the parent club wore the new "Germanic" unis. it wasn't until 1995 that they became the Snappers.
