lancealot Posted November 1, 2012 Share Posted November 1, 2012 Gasa is the armature american football league run in south Australia , it is comprised of five teams; southern district gridiron club, south city cheifs, port adelaide Spartans, eastside razorbacks and adelaide eagles, the leagues uniforms were to put it nicely crap until this season where a few teams up graded to generic templates which still suck but are not as bad. I will be posting home and road concepts for all five teams (currently each team only wears one uniform) and if I get enough feedback some throwbacks to be worn in two rounds throughout the season.The first team is southern district gridiron club, their nickname was originally the long horns but was changed to the oilers for unknown (to me) reasons. Up until a few years a go they wore royal blue uniforms with white numbers and cuffs, with navy helmets and navy pants. I would suggest adding a thicker grey/silver outline to the standalone logo and perhaps some sort of background for the words below to tie it into the derrick and oval better.I'm curious about what can be done with Australian american football team designs. lancealot Posted November 15, 2012 Author Share Posted November 15, 2012 East side razorbacks, the most success full amateur team in Australian history with 18 championships (with 22 finals appearances) out of 26 years of the league. Their uniforms have changed quite a bit over the years starting as maroon with a thick white stripe (http://sphotos-e.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/278973_428118480568430_224422460_o.jpg) then eventually turning into these atrocious uniforms in the 2000's (http://photos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/s720x720/303378_378523102194635_643922406_n.jpg?dl=1) in the current season they cleaned up their look by going with a fairly generic uniform, thick solid stipe down the side and logo on the sleeve (http://photos-e.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/s720x720/27916_459122077468070_1088621247_n.jpg?dl=1) one thing has been present on all of these uniforms (on a few players with the inaugural jerseys anyway) a two stripe pattern on the socks. I have decided to base the whole set on these stripes adding the Roman numerals for 18 (as it will not change for next season as they are currently 0-10 and have no way of making the finals) representing their championships P.s. The only thing that is anything like Arkansas is the ripped off logo, a I said earlier I didn't design the logos they are the ones in use at the moment.
