In a decision for an identity which represents their tradition and which respects the emotions of the fans and historic aficionados. After the Centenary, the symbol, which was created in collaboration with technical sponsor Erreà, represents the modern era and at the same time goes back to the crest that was already present in the 1920’s: half white with a black cross (as from the original jersey) and half yellow and blue striped vertically (the colors of the area) with the numbers of stripes used especially since the 1970’s (three yellow and four blue). The 2013-2014 season was the club's 100th year where they used a commemorative crest:Previous crest:

Bagel
You guys are making me hungry.Fun fact about parmesan cheese:It is named after the producing areas, which comprise the Provinces of Parma, Reggio Emilia, Bologna (only the area to the west of the river Reno), Modena, (all in Emilia-Romagna), and Mantova (in Lombardia, but only the area to the south of river Po), Italy. Under Italian law, only cheese produced in these provinces may be labelled "Parmigiano-Reggiano", and European law classifies the name, as well as the translation "Parmesan", as a protected designation of origin. Parmigiano is the Italian adjective for Parma and Reggiano that for Reggio Emilia. In the US the name Parmesan is also used for cheeses which imitate Parmigiano-Reggiano, along with phrases such as "Italian hard cheese".http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parmigiano-Reggiano
