Sean F&F
I want to try to alter and reinvent some of the classic and iconic logos in sports. Logos that no one would want to change, but for the purpose of these concepts, that's the entire point. There's a bit more of a write up here - http://tinyurl.com/nsjvt3cI've done two so far.The Red Sox and Yankees. These are more edgy and not as round as the originals. What do you guys think? And what are some other classic logos you'd like to see my change? https://fandfsports.wordpress.com/Hockey Uniform Templates (Gimp/Photoshop) http://seanff.deviantart.com/gallery/52790653/Devious-Folder
NH4
I really like your idea of touching the untouchable. I do like Boston's but the jagged edges on the right side kind of throw me maybe because the right side of the edge is bigger than the left. And I kind of like New York's but it kind of looks like a devil's pitchfork. But I mean it's kind of funny because most if not all baseball fans think of the Yankees as the evil franchise anyways. Can't wait to see what more untouchable logos you come up with.
PaperThin
Boston is good, but I don't like the uneven stroke on the Yankee's logo. Some parts are wider than others, and it makes the logo look unfinished.
TVIXX
Good versions, if I can request one I would request the ball in glove
OmegaRed
I think it would be pretty cool if you could find a way to create the Yankees logo in the shape of a baseball diamond. Your logo kind of hints at it already.

thealexham
Maybe the Knicks logo could be done. And a wishbone C used by the Reds now, and by the Cubs and Indians in their histories.
Sean F&F
Here is my Cubs logooAnd a more detailed description here - http://tinyurl.com/TwistedTraditionCubsYes, it is another blocky, angular logo, but I combines some of the past Cubs logos into one, while I hope still being recognizable as the Cubs. https://fandfsports.wordpress.com/Hockey Uniform Templates (Gimp/Photoshop) http://seanff.deviantart.com/gallery/52790653/Devious-Folder

Discrim
I kinda think it'd fit the Indians more. A strong mind gets high off success, a weak mind gets high off bull
Sean F&F
I kinda think it'd fit the Indians more. You're right! I knew something about the shape of this C looked like something I've seen before but wasn't sure. I thought it was a college team. Then when you said that I remembered right away. https://fandfsports.wordpress.com/Hockey Uniform Templates (Gimp/Photoshop) http://seanff.deviantart.com/gallery/52790653/Devious-Folder
el_Obi
That's some really cool designing! The first time I like a Yankee's logo, I personally would change the bottom of the Y matching the lines of the N into a square (don't know if it fits) For the Cubs it's difficult to find a C not being used already... Sean F&F
Phillies! And your Cubs thing at the top says "cups" insteadYeah, its a new team haha. Thanks for that, didn't notice.I have a new one, the Dodgers, who have had the same logo for their entire time in LA.The star references the stars of LA and Hollywood and the silver refers to the silver screen. And a full write up here - https://fandfsports.wordpress.com/2015/08/12/twisted-tradition-los-angeles-dodgers/ https://fandfsports.wordpress.com/Hockey Uniform Templates (Gimp/Photoshop) http://seanff.deviantart.com/gallery/52790653/Devious-Folder
thealexham
I think this looms good for LA. The A kind of looms like a star, which fits them.
