Minnesota Twins Alternate

In my MLB concept series, my general rule is that I will not change the complete look of a team if they have changed their uniforms in the past year or so. The Twins fall under that category, so instead, I made an alternate weekend jersey for them. This uniform was inspired partially by the Twins' Turn Ahead the Clock uniform, and also by their Sunday jersey sleeve patch.

I greatly simplified and revamped the sleeve logo, though - I reduced the colors used to two (red and blue) and replaced the "M" and "StP" on the two guys' jerseys with the Twins' two different cap logos.

The one thing I loathed about the Twins' TATC set is how the river did not continue down the rest of the uniform, instead stopping abruptly under Minne and Paul's feet. I continued the river on this jersey just for aesthetic purposes.

This looks more like something that is screen-printed onto the front of a t-shirt than the front of a baseball uniform. Maybe get rid of the red outline around the logo?

This ones a real stretch, I don't think this would work with todays uniforms. The front seems too busy with the logo slapped on the front. I think it would work if you separate the two guys on either side of the buttons. You could use the center seam as the river somehow, and have the guys shaking hands. Just a thought.

I don't even know what is going on here. I assume twins. A river? A bridge? Too much going on with the Draft and the Cavs on right now.

Oh, really? Well, can you do better? Where's your concepts?

It's one thing to call somebody's work "awful" when you've shared your own work on the forums, and therefore, know what you're talking about, but since you have not done any concepts (or at least not recently) you can't really say that.

Those were based on uniforms from those teams' past OTHER THAN the TATC uniforms.

Does this still look too much like something on the front of a T-shirt? I might eliminate the script entirely, on second thought.

I'd drop the # on front and just do Minnesota in a different font. For me the font looks a little amateurish. (I know that it's in the logo)

I have been loving your series, but was thinking this was your first real misfire. However the changes you've made are starting to win me over - and yeah, I vote keep the overlap.
