  1. To those hopping on the Bengals bandwagon (either for because of Burrow, underdog, hatred for Jackson Mahomes and Brittany Matthews) WELCOME! To be properly initiated into the Bengals fandom you must chug a can of Skyline Chili.
  2. The playoffs this year have been amazing and I believe its because there has been no overall dominant team. No one loss teams or teams who ran the table. It felt like everyone was at a somewhat level playing field.
  3. It would be better than Chicago State who is still looking for a new conference. As for the dwindling Big South, a merger with the dwindling Ohio Valley Conference might be an idea.
  4. Y'all I just wanted the Bengals to break their playoff curse and win a game. Since we got that I didnt really care if we won today or not and honestly didnt expect to win (especially after Burrow got sacked 9 times). Now its the third ever trip for them to the AFC Championship. The last trip they had there I was 13 months old.
  5. So this is what it feels like to not feel pain? I had just turned 3 years old the last time the Bengals won a playoff game. 11,332 days. I was a nervous wreck those last two minutes. So glad we finally go this monkey off our back. Now its the Reds turn to end their streak.
  6. Apparently St Louis City is going to be playing some preseason games this year as they are scheduled to meet FC Cincinnati in Clearwater Florida on February 11
  7. Tennessee Smokies have announced they will revert back to their previous name of Knoxville Smokies when they move to their new Knoxville ballpark in 2024
  8. Hearing that some of the MLS Next Pro League teams announced to start in 2022 might wait until next year. FC Cincinnati in particular has said while they are prepared to field a team in 2022, they are weighing on whether or not to push back to 2023
  9. As a Bengals fan I was torn. I wanted a tie so that the Raiders and Chargers would knock the Steelers out but I also wanted a Raiders win because even though Brady is gone I didnt want us to play the Patriots. Also the Bengals last playoff win came against the Oilers in January 1991. They were eliminated by the then Los Angeles Raiders in the next game. Hopefully we can end our playoff curse by beating the team that started it.
  10. Murray State makes it official. Joining the Missouri Valley Conference and Missouri Valley Football Conference in 2022 https://goracers.com/news/2022/1/6/general-murray-state-racers-jan-7.aspx
  11. Why not? The Texans, Bengals, Bills and Colts are all named after previous teams before them. The Steelers (then as the Pirates), Washington (then as the Boston Braves), the Cardinals (then as the St Louis Cardinals) and the New York Giants all once operated alongside MLB teams with the same name. I seriously doubt the league and team wouldnt have an issue using the name of a defunct team.
  12. I know Bettman doesnt want to lose another American market by moving it to Canada, so if for some reason they cant get things done in Calgary, moving the team to Quebec would keep the team in Canada to keep hockey fans happy (except in Calgary), while Arizona can play in an abandoned shed in the middle of an Arizona desert and Gary can remain happy.
  13. My guess is Admirals or RedHogs. Hogs has been a staple at games, while i like Admirals it represents a great military region in Washington-Baltimore-Annapolis-Norfolk.
  14. Having a fourth straight day of NFL football is throwing off my internal calendar.
  15. Play games in Quebec, Hartford, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Houston, and Birmingham and rename them the WHA Nomads
  16. Beautiful! Way better than Louisville or Angel City
  17. Get these guys a permanent home! Only one true home game at Yankee after July? Oof
  18. Pat Noonan has been hired as head coach at FC Cincinnati as another member of the Philadelphia Union staff joins GM Chris Albright coming to Cincinnati.
  19. Looking forward to the NYCFC World Series MLS Cup pennant being unveiled.
  20. Conspiracy Theory: The Coyotes paid their taxes with the money found behind the walls of the bathroom at Joel Osteens church in Houston to keep the Coyotes from coming from Houston
  21. Nick Saban has never beat Cincinnati. He is 0-1, as he lost the Bearcats as a DB at Kent State in 1971
  22. Nut Smugglers, Thunder Chickens? Are we naming a baseball team or are we coming up with sexual euphonisms
  23. Winnipeg is proof that the NHL can work in a small Canadian market. If Arizona moves there it will mess up the conference-division alignment. We may just have to have a 17 team East and 15 team West. I cant see Detroit and Columbus moving back west.
