  1. Unfortunately no. Poop watch continues.
  2. I missed watching the FC Cincinnati game tonight but a shocker in 90 minute stoppage time for a 1-0 win at Minnesota and the first ever 3 MLS game winning streak for the franchise. The three time wooden spoon holders are suddenly in fifth place in the East and 3 points out of first
  3. Met the Reds mascot Gapper at the game tonight while wearing a shirt that reads Rebuilding Every Damn Season They pointed at each word on my shirt as if they were reading it, shook my hand and gave me a nod of approval. I think Gapper is very aware of whats going on.
  4. The truck defecator will have to wait another night. Tonights game postponed due to rain. Hopefully he'll do it tomorrow night when Im there.
  5. I would be angry regardless of the Bengals. I started losing interest in the Reds when FC Cincinnati came to town, even before the move to MLS. Im going to miss Saturday nights FCC game to go to the Reds game with a friend. The only reason Im going is because my friend is die hard Reds fan, and I dont have to pay for the tickets, parking or food, so im not giving old man Castelini a penny. Same thing will happen next month when I go to Pride night. Otherwise Im not spending a penny on them this year.
  6. Im starting to wish the lockout was still going on, at least for the Reds.
  7. If they dont restore the Impact name, they didnt listen to their supporters or partners
  8. FC Cincinnati gets the season sweep over Toronto FC in less than a week thanks to wins Saturday and tonight against the (soccer) Reds and now have more wins this season than the (baseball) Reds. FCC has also tied last season and 2020s win total of 4 and is two away from tying 2019s win total of 6. Its nice to see this team play well under a competent coach who isnt forcing the broken Dutch system
  9. Reds are now 3-19, their worst start in franchise history. At this point they may give the 1899 Cleveland Spiders a run for their money.
  10. Top three schools drafted 1. Georgia-15 2. LSU-10 3. Cincinnati-9 Im absolutely floored. Usually Cincinnati is lucky to even have one person drafted. This year we had 9 declare for the draft with all 9 taken. More than Alabama, more than Ohio State.
  11. Im absolutely floored that there have been 9 Cincinnati Bearcats selected in the draft. More than Ohio State and so far more than Alabama. I believe only Georgia has more players taken.
  12. Anyone else want a Colorado-Florida Stanley Cup rematch?
  13. Both Oklahoma and Texas said they intend to stay in the Big 12 until 2025 when the Big 12 media rights contract ends. They both have said that they intend to honor that contract, and the SEC has said that they support the schools decisions. That being said the two could leave early but would have to pay big penalties, but as of now the conference and the schools are acting like they are gonna stick to the deal.
  14. Pete Rose on the Reds: "How do you expect to win when you get rid of [Nick] Castellanos, you get rid of [Jesse] Winker, and you get rid of [Eugenio] Suarez?" Rose said of their moves during the winter. "Those are their 3-4-5 hitters in the lineup, they’re gone, and they have no one to replace them. "I mean, the Reds can’t score. They’ve got four guys in that lineup hitting under .150. How the [expletive] you going to win? Poor [manager David] Bell sits there and doesn’t know what to do because he’s got to play for one or two runs every night. And he’s got two rookies in the rotation." Meanwhile Roses teammate Johnny Bench is singing another tune. He said " it's a shame some have been so critical of [Reds CEO Bob Castellini] because his passion is second to none for that town and for that ballclub." Yeah Im going with Pete on this one.
  15. BYU, Cincinnati, Houston, UCF to Big 12 will become official for next year. Looking at 14 schools for two seasons until Oklahoma and Texas depart for SEC https://www.si.com/college/2022/04/27/big-12-conference-ucf-houston-cincinnati-texas-oklahoma-changes
  16. (channels inner Morgan Freeman voice) But it was too late. The damage had already been done.
  17. The Reds are reversing course . After a weekend of games that saw several fans be threatened with ejection for wearing paper bags, Sell the team Bob signs, the team says it was a mistake on their part and will now allow fans to wear bags and bring signs expressing their displeasure with the team/ownership. Phil Castellini apparently has also apologized to team employees via a letter for his remarks made on opening day.
  18. The Reds snapped their 11 game losing skid. Also coming to an end was a 99 inning streak without leading after an inning. On Friday, a local news crew was interview fans in their seats with bags over their heads. An usher interrupted that interview telling the fans to take off the bags. That made its rounds on social media pissing off fans. Yesterday, a fan in the diamond seats (behind home plate) was threatened with ejection if he didnt remove his bag. That video made its rounds on social media pissing off fans even more. I havent heard of any bag trouble today but I did see that supposedly ushers have now been told not to tell fans to remove their bags.
  19. Bingo! The Reds are just MLBs minor league system
  20. Since Phil Castellini asked fans " where you gonna go?" and “sell the team to who?” on Opening Day, the Reds have lost 10 straight games by a combined score of 63-20, they’ve had a lead for 18 pitches, and the team owns the worst record in baseball at 2-12. Prior to last nights game former Red Nick Castellanos (now with the Phillies) told Chris Rose that the Reds didnt even call him. He said he feels sorry for the fans. The Reds meanwhile desperate to keep fans announced a couple of Bengals to throw the first pitch, and Hunter Greene (making his home debut) begged fans on social media to come to the game, only to receive replys of "sorry. we support you but we cant support Bob and Phil." and "You'll see a sea of red, its just gonna be empty seats." Last night was only the third home game of the season. Attendance was listed as 20,470 but that was likely paid attendance as the ballpark was actually about half of that. Fans wearing bags over their heads were told by stadium officials that they had to remove the bags.
  21. Looks like an Irish alcoholic beverage logo than an Irish soap logo
  22. There are plenty of viable markets. The real issue is who is paying for the stadium to be built. Lots of places dont want tax payer money to be spent on stadiums, while billionaires dont want to privately fund the building of a stadium. Because of that we are at an impass and nothing gets done. Its why Oakland and Tampa Bay dont have new stadiums in their markets and Vegas and Montreal dont have the A's and Rays.
